Just citing the so called godfather of Punk: I'm bored... I'm the chairman of the bored!

This has to be my 4th account or something, the first one being barryblunt, if I'm correct. I had already been buying and selling records by that name at ebay in its very early days like from 1999 on. Later I went by the name CHAIRMANoftheBORED, an account that I have closed accidentially. If you have any questions concerning any of my submissions just drop me a line!

My Steckenpferd is US Hip Hop and Punk Rock/Hardcore music, but I'm versatile: I love a lot of other stuff like classic Honky Tonk and Bakersfield Country, Rockabilly, Surf, Garage, Psychedelic (not Progressive), 60s & 70s Soul, some Post Disco (not Disco), Funk / Breaks, Thrash and sometimes even some electronic stuff. Music with english or german lyrics is what I prefer.

I collect vinyl only. Usually the genuine 1st retail pressing is what I'm after. I like the idea to own the same version of a record that the artist might have been given by his label at the day of its release, so to say.

Get lost with your $%§&'#* bootlegs and any poor reissues!!!

Remember the 90s? Hip Hop had been discovered and engaged by major labels almost 10 years ago. This project in contrast has been accomplished independently, right at the emerging late 90s back packer indie hip hop scene. Almost everything has been said ... See full review

Thanks to Jive Records this record has been available over the years. The original pressing has green labels and the DMM etchings in the runout groove section. Early copies have printed dust sleeves, late 90s pressings just came with a regular white ... See full review

I remember rumours circulated back then after 9/11 that the record had been withdrawn because of the b-side "Target Practice". It actually took a while, but after some months this record appeared: Dilated Peoples - Worst Comes To Worst / Worst Comes To Worst (Remix)

That's exactly what I have been thinking since I have heard this track first. This seems to use a sampler! Most likely '87 or even later... Check out how the other early Cheryl Records releases tell us the adress, this does not.

I can't stand the carelessly used and worn out terms "holy grail" and "underrated" anymore... Anyway, to me this has to be a keyalbum of german speaking Hip Hop records.

What exactly is the idea behind a 5x7" set?
- It does not sound better
- You have to flip the vinyl after every song
- you can't cut/scratch/mix a 7" especially a 45rpm record properly
- it's expensive
