The Deep House side of this tends to get overlooked, sure The Acid Life & I Need a Friend still sound the nutz but Farley's version of Wood Brass & Steel's Funkanova (aka The Funk Lives On)is very much as good as anything he put out around this time...

Wonderful release for me the best LP of the year so far, there's no filler at all highlights are Hold On, In Our Country, Paloma Triste. It's very deep and just gets better with every listen.

Worth the price of admission on the strength of the untitled track on the B side alone...it's always nice to be reminded why this music is still so beautiful.

The Acid mix on this 12" is one of the best examples of 303 programming you are likely to ever here....even 16 years on most people would stuggle to replicate the feel of this mix with current equipment used in place of the 303..I don't remember...

I have also just realized after 15 years since I bought this 12" it's pressed on green vinyl.....hold it up to the light...Jupiter is awesome 303...shame about the apparent Armando rip off though.
