As another perspective on some of the issues noted below, while my copy does have a defect about a minute into F5 Vex, this doesn't appear to be a pressing issue to me - the needle tracks cleanly through the "glitch" and it never happens again, which... See full review

Throwing my hat in the ring to attest to the quality of the remaster and pressing - always nervous about opaque colored vinyl, but this one doesn't disappoint. Here's to hoping for more reissues from the Source catalog

Couple copies left on the Kimochi bandcamp as of this posting - incredible EP, one of my favorite releases from one of my favorite labels.

For what its worth, everything I've bought from Numero this year has had dish warps - both colored and black vinyl. Not saying they wouldn't replace it, but this seems like a fairly pervasive issue so you may end up with another warped copy. I'd... See full review

Unfortunately can verify the same off-center D plate, thankfully most of the popping and clicks cleared up after a clean and a few plays through - seemed unusually staticky for some reason. Incredible release, I wouldn't let these issues deter picking it up. See full review

Deep and emotive jungle, an obviously much overlooked 12". A steal at the going rate, grab it if you see it.

Prime, lush stuff. Can’t help but love Apache Scratchy, plus points for most on the nose title ever.

Know and love the original, but having the 12 in hand I’m blown away by the Mind Readers mix, which just grooves and never stops.

Interesting to see it produced in part by Billy Williams aka Utterance, who’s release on Deep4Life is remixed to... See full review

Throbbing, filtered-disco tech house groove with a great sax solo. It's so house Y2K it hurts (in the best way).

Quintessential west-coast sound that nails all the tropes—white noise, filter sweeps, bouncy sub-bass, ethereal vocal snips—without ever coming near cheesy. Sweet Dubbin' is the standout for me, but it's all deep evocative grooves from one of my... See full review

Lovely and hypnotic soundscapes, one my favorite records of 2019. I feel very lucky to have happened upon this at the Henry Miller library while driving through Big Sur, saw a poster for a live performance for the album's release that had happened... See full review

REENO Just not my particular flavor of disco, a bit too grandiose for me and always felt the lyrics were leaning too hard in to the cheese. To each their own, of course! I certainly see the WAR similarities, good spot, just really love the subdued... See full review

Probably my favorite of the Dark Entries Cowley comps, for me it really shines in the trance inducing long-form ambient/kraut pieces, two standouts being Sensitivity and Sea of China. Great sound, too, many of the songs are more lush and dynamic than... See full review

Formulaic in the best sense of the term—slamming, deep, emotional house sounds done just right.

A remarkably multifaceted, beautiful and ethereal release. A serious standout on a label with no shortage of serious standouts, F Comm never ceases to surprise and impress.

Love this whole record, but the standout is probably the original mix of Sleeping World, quirky and jacking Fingers worship, lovely without coming off as derivative.

Chase my blues away, garage dub. Quirky and effective DJ tool intro gives way to a quintessential serene 1994 vibe, throw in some stabs and heavy-handed delayed cut up vocals for house music perfection.

Jay's Love Vibration Mix has slow burning Moodymann-esque vibes, best enjoyed at a HIGH volume, but the real stand out on this 12 is the Innervision mix. A true exercise in restraint, it spends its entire playtime on the verge of morphing in to a full... See full review
