Before the commercial vultures jumped on her hype, this album was particularly difficult to find on vinyl (hence the sellers asking 500-800 dollars, not just here, but all over the net). However that's changed, but the hikers haven't adjusted their... See full review

Unless the label's catalogue is sold or inherited I doubt this will ever be reissued. The rights holder is not interested. Plus it affects all artists originally signed to the label not just Aaliyah.

'Ready, Ready Love' was one of the biggest songs of the London steppers (or more fashionably known 'rare groove') scene and almost impossible to get a hold of (unless you had deep pockets) at the peak of its popularity back in the late 80's. Needless... See full review

Another song whose renaissance was driven by popularity amongst party ravers, primarily from London's 'rare groove' scene back in the mid 80's, fuelled by the street DJ's, their connected sound systems and inner city pirate radio. Heralding the... See full review

Spreading the album across double vinyl on the UK edition has given it a louder, more dynamic sound in comparison to the lower audio tone of this vinyl US release which squeezes all 22 tracks (or over 63 minutes of music) on two sides.
