I've never heard a vocal for it, but I'd love to hear one.

It may be wise to ask for a sound sample before buying this. My copy of this pressing has no bass and is generally not something I can play out.

Sound quality on this is generally not good. B side features a really muffled Tenement Yard dub

Voiced on the same track as Bunny Lie Lie's "Something's Gonna Happen"

B side is the horns cut of this track, also known as Broken Contract by Zap Pow

The Jamaican Recordings version of this release has a dub on the B side that is one of the amateur garbage relicks that Jamaican Recordings is notorious for. A side sounds proper though

Man this is hot garbage. Took some classic tunes and replaced the backing tracks.

Wish I had seen this before I bought it. What a dud

A relick on the same backing track as Freddie McGregor's "Too Long Will Be Too Late"

This is a great selection of tracks, and great to have together with their versions. My only critique is that these tracks have been slightly "touched" with modern reverb and echo, so that they don't have the clean sound I've heard on the singles and ... See full review

This one is the Heptones' "Fight It To The Top" riddim

What a great tune. This OnlyRoots reissue sounds great as well.

This single sounds muddy compared to the 12" so you're better off getting the 12 with that great acapella intro.

Vocal version was fine and as expected, but as mentioned, the dub has some random snippits of vocals from a modern Buju sounding DJ named Blackout. Its a bummer because the mix of the dub is nice.

Great song, but the 7" pressing on Thompson Sound has a whole lot of popping and clicking and background noise. The dub version on that pressing is actually the dub of the U Brown DJ cut.

What a disappointment. This is release is the later version with more of a horns driven, but also more upbeat sound. I bought it thinking it was the earlier version, which I think is far superior, but I was mistaken. I've updated the video clip to ... See full review

It is a shame how muddy this record from VP sounds compared to the issue put out by Blood & Fire. I bought this a bit ago and immediately noticed the difference when I put the needle on the wax. As an album, hard to say this isn't THE best single album ... See full review

This pressing sounds like it was either sourced from a low resolution compressed file (MP3) or was hit too hard with noise reduction software. That was the first thing I noticed when I played this version on Roots Man.

Kojak is a harmonica version to Johnny Clarke's "Jah Jah We Are Waiting". Meducia is also a harmonica version of a Johnny Clarke tune, but I forget the name of the tune "I Man don't like, a man who try to cheat I"

Though this is on the Observer label and credited to Niney, I believe both sides are from producer Jack Ruby with the band The Black Disciples. One side is a horns dub for Burning Spear's "People Get Ready." The other side is a horns dub for Tyrone ... See full review

Buyer beware. Though this is labeled as I Roy's "Roots Man", its actually Ranking Trevor's "Whip Them Jah Jah." It is on the same riddim as Jacob Miller's "False Rasta", Johnny Clarke's "Warrior" and Augustus Pablo's "555 Crown Street"
