I picked this up towards the end of 1997, but I did get it out of a discount bin so who knows how long it had been kicking around the store before I found it - to me this sounds very much like it's from 1996.

My copy has a sticker with the artist and ... See full review

I'll admit, I gave this a listen expecting some insipid diet-trance ballad. I underestimated.
I was not expecting the squelching shimmering goliath of a track that poured out. The DJ Manolo & Gene Therapy Mix is just beautiful and gnarly and sexy and, ... See full review

I think it's just a bad pressing on 'Rising Calm'. Despite being reliably cleaned, my copy is pretty crackly, especially towards the end - and the noise on mine matches up with the noise in the youtube upload. There must have been gunk on the stamper or ... See full review

The original source of the accapella is "Sanctuary Of Love" by Zhana from 1991 - this is where The Source and Love Decade lifted it from. Love Decade use it in the chorus of "I Feel You" and it is only the verses that are sung by Abigail.

Even though the label states B2 as being the David Morales Euro Club Mix - It's not. It's another morales dub, with no vocals at all.

Take out Sing A Song Of Sixpence played on the recorder (Yes, thats a thing) and 'Nursery Zone' would actually be an alright track.
"Lost Marbles" has a Looney Tunes music sample in it, which puts it in the Toytown Techno basket also.

I find it interesting, perhaps a little perplexing, that out of the four Hannibal Lecter EPs released on Asylum Records, this one is by far the most sought after, and fetches the highest prices.

The pressing on this is comparatively loud to most other records I own, particularly on the a side - which I think is why the tracking issues occur. Years ago when I was using a Stanton 500 cartridge it would just jump all over the place, it's definitely ... See full review

There seems to be a pressing fault on this record. There is significant surface noise on parts of A2 & B2, and to a lesser extent on the intro to A1. I had assumed the copy I had was damaged somehow, but I just got a second copy to replace it and the ... See full review

It's Mahalia Jackson "He's got the Whole World In His Hands" from the album 'Gospels, Spirituals & Hymns" - the version I found on youtube is about 2.37 long and the part the samples are taken from start at about 1.13 :)
