Check out the soaring China Cat. I've never heard the dead sound better.

Excellent sound. Well pressed. I like this compilation. Thanks Prince.

Upon second listen, I'd recommend this compilation. Ordered twice from Urban Outfitters, and both times I received the cd version. The album sounds good. It's definitely digital, but that's almost impossible not to find. I continued to be impressed ... See full review

Another fine edition in Shpongle's remastering catalog. The very heavy book is beautiful. It changes in different colored lights. But most importantly, the music is also well done. I'm surprised more people haven't mentioned the fact the vinyl sounds ... See full review

Not as good as the original. I'm not sure if they lost the analogs, or decided not to use them, but the separation between the instruments seems closer. Just my opinion, and I'm only going on my ears, and years of listening to this album.

It's happening today! And it looks both expensive and beautiful.

Lyrics are provided for select songs. Songs 1, 3, 5, and 6 have lyrics on the single insert. No complaints on the sound.

Really nice sounding tribute album. Bought it at their recent show. The lady said they only pressed 100. Came home, and listened to it twice!

Good pressing. Nice swirls. Great records. Loving her first one, I forget how many good songs are on this one too. After this album, it gets hazy....

Great, I'll have more money in October. Ha! And yes, things changed....

This might be the best sounding Grateful Dead release I have on vinyl. So, the vocals on side C aren't a big deal at all. I have pretty much everything released.

You're afraid to listen to something you bought? Then don't open it, and sell it. And maybe move on to a different band?

Haven't heard it yet, but GD productions clearly states the old tapes are what they are. You can't re-add vocals. You could pick a different concert to press, but obviously, they felt this one was worth the release overall. Given deadheads common ... See full review

How's this sound? Sometimes FM pressings can be rough.

The original release of this album got me into the grateful dead. I own two copies of the 1981 version, both very nice. But this version is clearer, and sounds more live. Kinda feels like the musicians are sitting around the room.

This is being remastered, and will come out in Sept '19.

I don't think it's a strict limited edition, but the chances of them ever reissuing this one is quite low.

Love this version. My pressing has distortion on the vocals of the "explicit" version. Might need to be cleaned. Hard to tell.

Great sound! Hard to believe it's almost 50 years old. Then again, it's not like it's an 80's show with tons of levels. It's just good, but that's enough. Nicely done box. Wasn't cheap, glad it actually delivers. The book is great. It shows ... See full review

An underrated, and well-recorded album. Recorded in an arena setting, without an audience, the band is relaxed. They're used to big spaces by now. Only 7 songs, but it doesn't really matter because you're buying the album for just a handful of great ... See full review

So...always a question on these reissues; is this the original vinyl explicit version, or the edited version which appears everywhere?

No, and as you can see, some people get upset with even 400 more being released.

My copy sounds better than my XL black REs from 2016. Honest. That said, there's a little surface noise at the very beginning of the first track.
