Aside from a few isolated items listed many moons ago all my vinyl is cleaned, carefully assessed and play tested.

Vinyl is cleaned manually with a Knosti Machine and top end L'Art du Son cleaning solution. This not only cleans thoroughly but also improves the soundscape.

Discs are then given a second run through in a Knosti machine with distilled water and air dried.

This results in vinyl which is turntable ready!

Should this not be a UK release? Although country of manufacture not stated to labels all other pointers indicate that this is a UK pressing. (Philips type matrix numbers, style of vinyl and label, London address to rear of UK type sleeve).

I'm confused as to how this supposed reissue has an A1 matrix to the A side. Earlier issues with embossed sleeve etc. all seem to have A2 as the earliest matrix. How is this?

Is this definitely a sticker to the front or merely part of the printed design?

Are you sure that this isn't a duplicate entry for the other UK 1st press orange label issue? I can see no difference between the two.

An earlier version of this LP exists on the lime green coloured Warner label.

Hate to see how some prices have shot up. I sold this many moons ago at a London Record Fair for about £38.00.

A very few copies of the UK issue BUY 38 were pressed on red vinyl, probably only running into single figures.

My version of this has a red "VIVA" badge/pin button added to the top left of the die-cut red and black Square Records sleeve. I haven't added this as a variant as it could have been added at a later date. Would be interesting to know if there are any ... See full review

I don't understand why it is pointed out that this is an edited version - the other similar release has exactly the same running time on the label, am I missing something?

Further to my previous posting apparently the first pressings DO NOT include Promotone. This is because the UK release was in April 71 and Promotone wasn't created until September 71. However there are also A4/B4 and A3/B4 pressings without Promotone. ... See full review

Is the Promotone N.V. Record wording really indicative of the earliest pressing? I recently sold one WITH this wording which had A4/B4 matrix suffixes and a large zip cover. I have one in front of me now which has NO Promotone wording yet has earliest ... See full review

Is there any evidence that this is a 5 x CD set? I would doubt this as a previous sampler was just a single CD. I also have a single CD with the same catalogue number, although the liner is different and features a train running through the city. Also ... See full review

My copy has the catalogue number BH 1004 to tail of spine, presumably a misprint, as the labels are catalogued BH 1006.

I have an issue identical to this but with the different labels being reversed, i.e. the red logo is on side two. Matrix info is identical except that the last "1" on side two is not legible, either missing or too faintly impressed. Interestingly the ... See full review

I have a copy of this and the labels are completely flat and without the distinctive Decca groove. Else appears to be a standard UK pressing with 4-prong push-out type centre.

I have a copy of this which has a solid centre, retaining the distinctive Decca groove. It shares the exact same matrix numbers but does not have a picture sleeve.

With reference to the first two comments I have a white label 12" of this, but it is not single sided. It appears to have the same three tracks as the CD. The plain sleeve contains a plug sticker with the exact same wording as that mentioned by djemmay.

My USA stereo version of this LP has the A side label titled as "Unbelievable" - not sure if this indicates an early transitional LP, or if this is common to all copies (the B side label is titles as "Summertime").

I have an unusual version of this release which appears to be housed in a USA sleeve but with stamped "SAMPLE" to top of rear and stamped "MADE IN TRINIDAD" to bottom of rear.

The vinyl is a kind of speckled purple, partly transparent hue. Record labels ... See full review
