A truly superb sounding release, ultra quiet transparent vinyl, deep impactful bass with well judged mids and highs. Artwork is nice too.

Tonnes better than the original CD, and whichever digital release is available on Spotify. Much less harsh, better detail and space. Vinyl is quiet enough. However, it isn't perfect, especially as occassionally the sound momentarily "ducks" out as if the ... See full review

My real guilty pleasure just got more pleasurable; this is a seriously decent pressing. The mastering is sublime with a massive soundstage, incredibly low end presence and absolutely no distortion to speak of. If only all records sounded this good! ... See full review

Stunning remaster and pressing, I've always thought of Matt Colton as the Porky of today and this pressing proves that. I agree with others about Cut for Life, prefer Song of Life myself, but it's a small price to pay for such a stunning remaster.

Not your usual generic remaster, this is an exceptional pressing in all regards. Perfect balance, quiet vinyl and a very wide soundstage. This 20th Anniversary edition really does what is still a very fresh sounding album justice!

I'm struggling to establish how Hounds of Love could ever have sounded better than this release does. Although I don't own the original pressing, this is the best I've ever heard this album sound. Inky black soundfloor, stunning soundstage, no inner ... See full review

Stumbled upon a real gem with this one. Atmpsheric rollers. Highly recommended.

Well within the realms of my top 5 favourite deep house records. It's ItaloJohnson's best release. Some confusion over which side is which; the one with the female vocals going "it's a, it's a, it's a good thing" is the highlight. Very little else comes ... See full review

Simply the best album and new band of 2018. Completely blew me away when I heard the album, even more so when I've seen them live. Shame (ahem) the recording quality on this album isn't the greatest, but the scooped mids and compression simply amplifies ... See full review

Not one for playing as background music when your nan's round for tea... To explain 'Headache', imagine sitting inside a synthesized F1 car with 300 gears, continually accelerating, shaking your head left and right trying to make it stop. A violent ... See full review

A really nice bit of artwork on this release, I've actually got a copy on the wall. "Dirty" does explain the pressing spot on, but it works well for it.

Absolutely sublime track. The massive chorus soaked sawtooth synth is the best use of a Roland Jupiter 8 this side of Duran Duran!
