There is attractiveness in each and every format. As a collector, I find it hard to resist acquiring the same release in more than one format. Like most, I don't have unlimited cash supply, and need to make hard decisions ... That said, some selected artists deserve a special place in my collection, and for those it is not unusual for me to own a few variations of the same work.

I am as excited about CDs than Vinyl records, which together represent the large majority of my collection – including here and there SACDs, DVD(-A)s, Blu-ray Discs, cassettes, as well as a few digital files.

The (beta) TRACKS section of the Discogs database is what attracts me most right now; the majority of my current activities (releases edits, forum threads participation) are related to contributing to it directly or indirectly.

While I am nearly there with listing my CD/SACD/DVD/BD collection, I have still to list the remaining 20% of my Vinyl records collection.
