The CD has surface noise? Or did you mean to put this in the LP entry?

Yeah....the "limited" is not in the number, but in where you can get it from. Definitely more than 500. Now go cop it, 'cause FOMO-world problems, ya know?

Yea, it is great. I didn't have any problem with Control's sound quality; though it seems people will often use "sound quality" and "pressing quality" interchangeably. Control sounds great, but I had to send back my first copy because the pressing ... See full review

It’s well done. I have an OOP copy as well and have no problem making this my main spinning copy now. I’ve gotten most of the RE’s and the sound/pressing quality is really good across the board. Except the janet. RE having the typo of “Sweat Dreams” and ... See full review

I now have both. If you have the 2017 RE there is absolutely no reason to get this unless you have to have the different colored jacket and/or the DL. Honestly, I’d get the 7LP box if you need all the extras or get the CD.

Sapphyx Have you tried the Run Out Groove website - same price. That's who is producing it and that's where I ordered from no problem.

The sound isn't great because it's not a great pressing. I challenge the notion that "the sound is about what you could reasonably expect from non-heavyweight vinyls." I challenge it with tons of examples of stellar pressing across decades that have been ... See full review

The pressing is really good. No big problems and well done. But I listened to 2 copies and found the same "issue" on the same spot on otherwise pretty flawless pressings and would like to know if others have it:

On "Ideas as Opiates" about 2:25 in - ... See full review

Maybe it’s a regional issue? Mine was purchased US through Amazon. No hype sticker that indicated a DL.

My side 3 came that way. Optimal, for me, has been hit & miss.

Nor did mine. Great album though. Good quality pressing. Word.

The 2017 listing of this half speed/Abbey Road release has a half speed mastering certificate listed. And from my experience with having a few of them, they’re always included. Mine didn’t come with it - missing? not with this version?

Sounds really, really great. Mine came with a crazy seam split on the bottom of the jacket, but VMP will make that right (awesome customer service). But, most importantly and as I said, the actual music sounds spectacular. Funny aside - I picked up the ... See full review

Great pressing. I was a little worried when you tell me both 1972 (who have a lot of detractors but I’ve never had a big prob w) and Rainbo (that’s really what gave me the ‘ol sphincter squeeze) were involved. But I found it really quiet (cleaned on ... See full review

Not so sure it's going to be widely released. The mono pressing of Piper... was not widely released and remained exclusive - albeit with much more exciting packaging.

Yeah, it’s an arch and covers about 2/3 of side a. I figured it was from the sleeve but seeing you’ve had a similar issue...It also caused audible clicking.

This is an album I’ll always come back to. It’s really good and it is personally tied into particular memories (i.e. a relationship) for me. HOWEVER, I used the phrase “it’s really good” for a reason. Its myth far outstretches its reality, IMO. A solid ... See full review
