Profile

What is your number one tip for sellers?
Grade conservatively. Customers love opening up their packages and finding out that the record is in better shape than you listed!

What is your number two tip for sellers?
Use better vinyl packaging.
For instance: LAX oversized with corrugated cardboard and corners protected

I started in the seventies with buying records and cutouts especially, and haven't stopped since! At that time I liked cutouts a lot, because they were new and sealed (untouched, like a virgin...), although unfortunately for me not priced $1.99 or $3.99 over here in Amsterdam! I had to pay slightly more in guldens (Dutch guilders)....

It never got a US release though.

I agree with Liquidinvasion about the sleeve. The GZ sleeve is sturdier than the original sleeve. And Chris Bellman did a very nice job for Rhino. Some people consider this the best album ever made. And the cosmic coloured vinyl in this particular... See full review

Why to go through all the effort recording mixing mastering (by Bernie) plating by RTI and then go to United to press this? Excellent album again by Boz by the way!

It's really pathetic that overstock of this RSD title which retails at $70-$80 is now being flogged a couple of days later by stores at flipper prices.

.....only pathetic if you actually buy it at flipper prices...

Rhino/Scorpio releases are essentially cd's with some tweaks. And one more thing, even though the releases are legit, I know that the actual deal made back then in the cd-age, when companies abandoned the vinyl-format, is still shady and the releases... See full review

Why on earth are you comparing this to a shitty Scorpio/Rhino release? (It is legitimate but not endorsed by any company at the time, the deal is still shady.)

My copy is great too. And folks, let me tell you, as someone who owns a mint original copy, this one smokes it. First pressing isn't always best.

Agreed, Dean Rudland (BGP), Frank Merritt and GZ Media Lodeniçe did a great job! See full review

For all the criticism Rainbo got during their tenure as pressing facility this pressing was proof they could really deliver a quality product. And do not forget that a lot of companies/artists Rainbo pressed for never requested/listened to test pressings. See full review

So please people do not buy this sealed if you want the excellent analogue version, unless the seller can vouch for having this in his inventory before the DIGITAL David Bowie - The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars from 2020. The 2012 reissue and the 2016 repress both are analogue.
