The Jazz Dispensary pressings are always high quality. Beautiful packaging, spectacular colored vinyl, perfect pressing, incredible track selection. Just wish I didn't have to hassle with RSD to get them.

My copy did not come with the info strip like the others in this series. This is the only one of the 5 I received without the info / obi strip. This one also doesn't have an inner sleeve, just the pictured rice paper Mofi style inner. Perhaps the... See full review

This is a terrific album. Good blend of moods and tempos, excellent synth sounds and production. Nice quality inner sleeves with printed lyrics. My copy sounds fantastic after getting rid of the static. Quality pressing all around.

I think it's because Demon is doing these and not LTM. I'm just glad someone did them because they're late era and I can't imagine the demand for these releases is that high.

One Potato, Two Potato, Three Potato, Four, is about the best naming of record sides i've ever seen. Thanks for the laugh Mr. Cobby.

My copy from Bleep arrived with a seam split. The last few I've purchased directly from Clay Pipe have been shipped with the record outside the sleeve to eliminate seam splits. Anyone else get a copy with a seam split and if so, where did you order it?

This pressing is absolute garbage. Avoid at all costs. The original pressings are cheaper anyway.

I hate to 'both sides' this review section, but both sides of this 10" are bomb as fck, in the words of bustarapus.

My copy did not come with the dark red / burgundy strip. Was that for digital images only or did some copies come with that strip across the cover?

I was listening to Black Dog LPs just prior to putting it on and side b sounded too slow on 33 and sounded a bit like Black Dog on 45 so I thought it sounded 'right' on that speed. Perhaps it is supposed to be played on 33, but i've been enjoying it on 45. See full review

The cover image shown here on discogs indicates this is a picture sleeve, but my copy, ordered from Boomkat, arrived in plain brown sleeve. Also, I'm pretty sure side A is 33rpm and side B is 45rpm, but it isn't noted on the record.

Old Achieva Care Bare is a great song. This collection is actually pretty nice overall, so it's strange to see it with such a low price.

Calyx of Isis mix is incredible. Also Jon Marsh's fav Beloved remix from Blissed Out. Check out Jon's memory of it here: https://youtu.be/pOu1qF8A6HU?t=929

The Baby Brothers are apparently Steve Waddington and Martyn Philips. Jon was feeling a bit... See full review

Can anyone comment on how this compares in sound quality to the original vinyl pressing?

I'd guess the majority of people who purchase this record do so for the incredible Studio remix.

I need this sleeve. I have the record that goes with it, but it was in the other color variation for this sleeve design. If you have a VG+ or better sleeve for this (blue / gold puzzle piece design), please let me know. If you need the other sleeve... See full review

Does the b-side version appear on any other releases? Anyone know the details on this specific version of the song? Did Bob/Pete do this version themselves? It sounds like a live dub style mix on the mixing board. Very interesting version.

All 4 records come individually shrinkwrapped. Nice textured sleeves with VEX Obi / wrap. Quality presentation.

FWIW, I don't hear any crackling on my copy. intros are quiet, even when the volume is cranked loud.

First play through each of the records and this set is fantastic. One of the best 'out of the sleeve' sounding records i've received recently. Clean, pop free, and centered. Generally I need to clean new records but this one sounds perfect straight away.

This is as good as the Sabres of Paradise LPs and right up there with the best work by Andrew Weatherall. It's a shame this and the NU Fort Beulah stuff is so limited. Hopefully someone will repress them all.

Is the vocal sample on Shortwave used anywhere else? It reminds me of another song but I can't place it. Maybe it's just this one is old enough now that i've got a vague memory of it, but....?

Both of the reissues I ordered arrived with bent sleeves, but the records weren't damaged. The bends are pretty significant on the top right corner and to a lesser extent the top left corner.

This album is decent for folding laundry on an overcast weekend morning while the cat mourns the loss of regular sunshine and the color of the sky gets slightly darker grey as the hours pass.
