Great ending. "Ententainer" and "Water Wolfes" at the end of the album sound as if they learned something from Talk Talk's last two albums. Rest of the album sounds like previous of the band's efforts, maybe little bit less melodic, poppish. Strong...

Anyone knows how to distinguish it from the original release? Even the matrix is the same.

I would say that the Shaggs story is complete opposite of freedom.

It's already 37, they just change colour to mint over time ;)

The person who listed the album as "industrial" do not know the album or do not know what defines the style. The master release pinned it much better: Piano Blues, Avantgarde, Experimental.

Helmet's copycat, complete with mimicking Page Hamilton's vocal manner. Helmet is so important in the history of alt. rock and metal that I'm not surprised a band imitates this style (compared to dozens of groups shamelessly copying Black Sabbath). So...

Could you please give one example of a band that did pop oriented album to show independence? I know only one example: No Trend (and the pop factor here is quite a special one) and tens of bands that did it to sell more records as a main purpose.

Is that one big phantom finger on Frieda's dress? The cover freaks me out.

... and plenty of amazing drumming. The drummer here often steals the show.

Demands to be re-released on cd! Both albums would fit one disc... Universal (well, mustly) yet skillful music.

I'm really dissapointed it is not re-released nowadays. Great, multi-purpose music moving effortlessly from easy listening to free jazz (and back).

Listed as EP on Godflesh site, so officially it is an EP. But that's wrong according to industry standards. They could call it 2 EPs, if they did not want to call it an album :)

It means it's not the first issue, not an original release. The fact the next reissues are nt that first one does not make them not original.

My copy is a bad pressing: it starts few second too late, and then every track's beginning is indexed with the same delay.

Really nice. But how can I support the artist and buy the music when it's: 1) available only in digital, downloadable formats, 2) piano is tuned to 440 Hz? Wanna vinyl or cd, in 432 Hz. And I guess I can't find it in any quality format, because most...

If anyone knows Om, please ask them to release instrumental version of this album. May be freakin limited, but I really would enjoy having this awesome instruments without any vocals.

Can anyone tell if there's a difference between vinyl and cd versions of this album in case of compression? I have the cd - japanese press - and it is destroyed by heavy compression. Is vinyl any better?

This is - for the first time - two vinyl issue of this album, with three extra tracks on side D. Tracklist is just copy-pasted from an older edition.

Why is it blocked by Discogs, when it is available in Bertus, Netherlands - Europe's biggest music distributor?

She felt in love in the Cure, Siouxsie and all things 80's new wave. Still not a bad thing, nice album, that's the way this girl makes progress...
