Just saw the Milkmen in Philly at the Kurt Wunder benefit. These guys are still very entertaining to say the least. They played a long set, including all of my favorites New and old. Rodney's voice was spot on. Joe Jack's guitar and facial expressions ... See full review

I just bought this from Monster Music in Charleston SC. 4/7/19. Got #1923. Love the Hawaiian Devo uke band on the cover. Surfs up!! There is only one song I'm not familiar with. Over all, very cool!! I'll put this next to my rsd pic disc of Are we not ... See full review

How do you make another great RTC record? You get some great regional artists and throw in some BAD songs. I love this record. By far, the best selection for RSD 2018! I really liked volume 1, but this volume really catches the magic of Stummer's ... See full review

Barry Andrews of XTC plays keys on this album. Right around the time he left the band. If you're an XTC fan, you'll notice Barry immediately! This has a slight XTC and Talking Heads vibe. Fripps guitar work is out there, and very precise. No vocals, but ... See full review

Agreed. Very warm. Lots of stereo imaging . Great songs too. Chrissie's voice is spot on. Got a good easy rock vibe. Though at this point, this is a Solo project, but a damn good one. Better than a few past offerings. Going to see them in Charleston on ... See full review

What does the loop at the end of side two say???
posted a review of Various - The Last Stiff Compilation. about 1 year ago
Also, side two has a endless loop at the end of play. Sounds like " nibbled to death by coffee"..??LMAO. I know, but that's what it sounds like. Fill me in if you know. The Midnight Runners song is great..

Just got this great compilation. My favorite music to collect is from 79 and 80. Brings back so many memories. That's why we spend our hard earned money on this stuff. Nostalgia can be a bitch!!! Keep spinning that vinyl!!! The Chords song rocked. Motor ... See full review

Just picked this up for a couple of bucks. Mastered by B G himself. Sounds great. Two Joe Jackson songs and a police song I've never heard. Side one is live. The rest of the bands rock too. Pure 1979; one of my favorite years for music. Pick this record ... See full review

I've listened to the CD version only, until I bought this remaster. The CD is clear and vocals stand out in the mix. The vocals are lost in the mix on the vinyl remaster. The CD lacks warmth. The vinyl does warm up, but what can you expect from a ... See full review
