Profile

In general I favor albums thick at the spine, clearly numerated from the shelf-side, 180g or 200g for durability, Original Pressings and hot new reissues, Mobile-Fidelity issues, DCC Gold CDs, and audiophile stuff, colored records if they match the album art and come affordably break up the monotony, especially oddball colorings or reds, not ever to favor picture discs, as they all suffer an ugly noise ceiling from the paint, VG+/Ex/NM/M condition only--no skips--boxed discographies entice, but there are very few bands of whom I need multiple records at this stage in my collection of around 2,500 vinyl, 4K CDs, 3,300 DVD/Blu-rays, and c.500 books.

Don't sell me records that skip--I'm building a library of solid listening copies, dammit.

I have a robust digital music library, too, but be warned--half my 20,000+ albums are metal. I love all music that evinces universal truth, technical prowess, or a unique voice, but man, I sure am a sucker for a lean, mean, dumb pop song! I collect across genre lines--folk to rap to prog to MBP to afrobeat--and occasionally pare down my collection by selling it off here, or at Amoeba in LA, which is open again, (cheers).

If I sell you a record, I will pack it fat and protective-like. Sometimes it takes 2-4 days to get to the post office, but I always mail within that time frame, at worst. I use USPS media mail and get hit around $4.90, nee $5.00, per package, which gets added on to all orders. All of my packing boxes are repurposed from my purchases in order to recycle where possible. If you buy from me, it means you have good taste, and I will treat you accordingly. Buyers will have a positive transaction with me.

Cover art is 10% blown-up, but colors are great/splatter sexy. Sounds clearer than my 2014 copy, but minimally. Why omit "Reign-Carrion" though? 4/5 for that.

Great album, nice looking crimson gatefold, cheap on the net, and it's at 45rpm, too. Recommended

This double Black/Gold Splatter vinyl plays at 45rpm, though it's not listed.

There's no difference in SQ between black and colored vinyl; the sound depends on the master.

All the classic Sacrilege in 1 box of album-cover-colored LPs, vinyl thick, flat and pretty, the full albums as gatefolds. These albums sound better on vinyl to my ears. Box is a bit oversize, but spine printing is clear. Essential blackened death.

Stellar 3LP gold vinyl set of Incantation B-sides, demos, live tracks and EP tracks. Would seem for completists only, but the uniform quality of these tracks makes it essential for death metal fans in general. Vinyl trifold came in open hype sleeve... See full review

Though perhaps not as punchy as an OP, I'm still having an excellent experience with the channel separation on this LP. Here's another reason to buy this copy, a list of the current prices for an OP:
Lowest: $58.82
Median: $425.00
Highest: $941.18.

Amazing double LP set that captures the new album's spaced-out fury and rampant bars of angry expression. The deep purple and yellow cover stands out as much as "Shaog". Superior album/issue.

Great album, pressing, but if red + blue makes purple, then IDK what color this album is? Vikings loved to crush enemies, drain mead, and sit around campires wondering which color Amon Amarth will invent next.

Though sympathetic to another's state, I can still offer my opinion on one's music, specifically the soft production here, without censure. I will, too, without knowing every detail of an artist's personal life, which is absurd.

In re-recording their gestating repertoire of amazing indie singles, they have neutered these songs of their vitriol and produced a smoother sounding album. Be warned.

Compared to Washington's mammoth 3-and-4-LP sets, this soundtrack comes off tame like smooth jazz. Structurally, there's more harmony to establish melodies and motifs, as well, and little in the way of soloing, little to like for fans of freer jazz.
