My favourite job I ever had was my weekend one as a teenager working in Trumps Records (mainly Hornchurch) - a small, independent chain around London and Essex.
I must have owned every dance-related album going from 1993-1998 and still love listening to them now. Friday afternoons after school were the best - the moment those lovely boxes full of the next week's new releases arrived was the highlight. Along with all the lovely regulars, fighting with my manager over a new promo freebie, and those moments when you could help someone that'd been looking for something for ages and you could source it for them. Listening to music, helping people and getting paid for something you love - brilliant memories.
