No comment on Rising Sun? When you have a dub techno producer as accomplished as XDB at the helm, I can say that the title of the track speaks for itself which is basically all that needs to be said.

Capturing the majesty of the rising sun in whirling ... See full review

What an incredible album.

Given that the title track is one of the most sublime trance records produced "trance" ought to be added as a style for this release and with pride.

If all trance was as good as the B side there would be no divide.

Pitched down, when it has time to breath, Deep Chord is a bit special.

I was actually talking about "The Scene" in my post below.

More importantly, this EP is an absolute belter.

Saw they guys play Departure Songs live in Melbourne a few weeks ago.

I'm uninitiated in the world of post world but was utterly blown away by how good they were.

Such powerful, emotional music.

Don Williams' Night Transmission Remix of Karma was easily one of the tracks of 2014. Stunning stuff.

As good as Phreakin' is I think the really genius of this records is on the B side.

KW if you're reading, on the subject of re-issued tunes, Deep Heat and your remix of Aaron Carl's Crucified are in dramatic need of pressing.

A side is another belter from KW. B side is a re-press of Lime & Pink.

On another note, what is the story behind the release of this record? Only seemed to be retailed at decks.de and the prices here didn't even start reasonably.

So I've got a copy of the Say Or Do [Traumprinz 03] vinyl with the picture of the woman in the surf supposedly from this EP.

Not that it really matters but does anyone know where the error is?

Infectious feel good bomb with the 909 hats, massive, plodding bass line and huge vocal hook you'd expect for a Murk track.

The tracks on the a side of this record are attitude laden stompers in the vein of Fury - Pain [Murk 009].

Good as the original and the dub are Oscar G's dub takes things to a different level with a more techy arrangement.

This third release under the ... See full review

Hard to argue that nothing is better than the original but each mix has a unique flavour.

The Murk Groove is a monster track which focuses, as its name suggests, on the massive bass line (without use of the vocal.

It took me quite a long time to digest Hollywood to Hialeah. It is not the collection of more obvious tribal house cuts that I expected it would be (in light of the releases of "I Need Someone", "Break You" and "The Dig"). It is a deeper, rawer ... See full review

Classic Ralph Falcon/Murk record. Soulful, dark, tribal with a huge vocal performance to match. It is proper body music in line with the Murk tradition of brooding soul.
