Just FYI - they're digitally mastering at Battery so this is not an all analogue cut which is why it says "mastered from" instead of "CUT and mastered from".

It may well be that Bernie created a mastered analogue cutting copy and CB cut the 45, because the original 33rpm version from ORG has BG in the deadwax. I'm sure one of them or their assistants would clarify if asked, they're usually pretty helpful.

Yes, Mr Ludwig himself has confirmed the US 1992 release was cut directly from the original 1/2" analogue tapes.

All other original 1992 versions were cut from DAT masters that Bob created.

Little bit loud but 3~4dB more dynamic range than the CD version. The vinyl was cut from the DSD files mastered by Ed Brooks. So you can get the source files for the vinyl cut for about $25.

I have compared both, you cannot beat the Analog Spark cut. This is good, but the AS cut just sounds more alive to me, more presence and energy. The Analog Spark cut is all analogue, the Miles cut is not.
