it is actually very rare, to find it for sale that is; i have only seen one copy that i found for myself by pure chance + someone elses failure to recognize how good a track this is; 17,000 owners who will not part with this record most likely; i know i wont be parting with mine! very good memories from the dancefloor @ 480 spadina in 1995 (Futureshock BUZZ), having my mind blown literally by all the good music that was coming out that year; a sharp contrast in the quality of production from the years just before

the funkbox mix is a gem of a track, part of the onslaught of jackin tunes purveyed by Derrick Carter in late 94 / early 95 that made him a superstar in north america; sounds influenced by the likes of Dj Pierre (Wildpitch ACID! meets chicago; yet produced by a brit in the UK! lol)

thats actually kind of offensive to Todd and also offensive to the original producers of the track, Blair Nicholas & Somerled MacKichan; i get that you are trying to be funny but you really arent taking into account how the producers of this track must feel reading your comment on, what was an important release + event in their lives; please try to have a little more respect for peoples creative work, without their work there would be no Derrick Carter mix; use your brain, kid; everytime i see this kind of offensive trashy brittish humor it makes me less proud of my english heritage

this is the kind of jungle music that i miss the ones that gave u good feelings + goosebumps all over - state of bliss; jungle was like this in 1994 but sometime into 1995 it began to change to a more agressive ragga style and lost the golden glow; i dont particularly remember this exact tune but it makes me think of 1994 regardless just in the style of composition + sounds that remind me of similar cuts played by the likes of jumpin jack frost

its funny to see the videos on youtube obviously recorded by people finding the record years later because noooobody would play this "can you feel it" track this SLOW it was almost always pitched up to a way more exciting tempo; alot of people who post records on youtube post them at the most unflattering tempos; the records sounded ten times better mixed by good djs put into a set with some enthusiasm + oomph and a quick tempo that made your heart pump just a bit faster to catch up! and made your feet move

this is an amazing record that fits perfectly in between house + trance; i have no idea why this type of music only exists back in the early-mid 1990s; sounds more future to me than any EDM/IDM crap you hear these days; i had the plutogated track on a few different dj keoki mixes where he plays this tune with a sermon not sure who the preacher was; maybe billy graham?
