I bought this on eBay, along with what turned out to be a pirated copy of Last Night I Had The Strangest Dream. (Had I seen how many brand new copies of this the seller had sold in the past I would've caught on to them being fake. I think.) To give ... See full review

Recently bought this one on eBay not knowing it was a dupe. Thought the price was too good to be true for a sealed copy of this title... Had I checked the history and seen how many the seller had sold previously it would've been obvious. Hide your wife, ... See full review

This is a good album, but its impossible to get a good copy of this particular release (MCAD-5749.) I've gone through four copies over the years, one was even sealed when I got it. I couldn't rip ANY of them -- and all of them were in near immaculate ... See full review

This collection draws from The Best Of Floyd Cramer and The Best Of Floyd Cramer Volume 2, containing eight songs from each of those (12 track) albums.

I scored one of these because I am a completist and assumed that this copy would be no different than stock copies. I might be wrong.

I recently purchased this from the official Steppenwolf site. Looks like a custom run that MCA did for them at some point; the listing on the site says that the CD is "available by special arrangement with MCA Records".

This is a pretty cheap way to obtain these albums (when I bought this set, it was going for under $5 brand new on Amazon and not from a third-party seller either) but as is often the case with collections, there's bound to be trouble.

If you can pick it up on the cheap, it's an easy way to get Lightfoot's first three singles and the b-side of the fourth (it's a-side, "Day Before Yesterday" is conspicuously absent.) In connection with this album, a fifth single was released in 1971. ... See full review

Although fans typically consider this his second solo album, it's actually the first as confirmed by an article in the 7/26/86 issue of the Free Lance-Star (Fredericksburg, Virginia), which gives a date of 1984.

This CD is right up there with The Byrds - Original Singles 1965-1967 when it comes to the worst CDs I've ever owned. The last few songs sound like they were sourced from a tape that was stored with a magnet in the box - the right channel weaves in and out of the mix.

Contrary to popular belief, the version of "Spin, Spin" here is not the version that appeared on the single. This is a vastly different (and, in my opinion, superior) take. The actual single take remains MIA on LP or CD.

The a-side is the standard stereo album version. B-side on the other hand is the original mono 45 version, the one with the clunky piano overdub.
