I have been buying records for two decades and with the years i just became more and more picky. So now that i sell records, you ll benefit from this...

A record thats graded NM and that turns out to be a weak VG breaks my heart each time i receive it. As a buyer i would generally pay the extra money thats necessary to get a good copy, and its always sad to feel you just paid more because someone was less careful or honest...
So i do my best to give here what i would like to get as a customer (and don't always get, to be honest...)

The records i am selling are from my personal collection. I cared for them. When the condition isnt NM, it's just i bought it second hand and it was like that when i got it, or because something happened during shipping, or because vinyls produced nowadays turned out to be rarely NM once you open them. Warped records, bad vinyl quality wrapped inside a paper sleeve that will leave paper scuffs,... that's just the way things mostly are.
Alao, i only play my records with an amazing Jico stylus.

So i'll try to be as conservative as possible when grading a record. And please remember, i am just human, if you are unsatisfied with anything, contact me.

All the best!

I wasn't expecting much, and got something not worth keeping that was sent back directly. Warped record, awful flat sound, absolutely uninteresting demos, useless packaging... pay the extra and get any of the old presses (even the colour ones sound ... See full review

Very very nice mastering, super flat and quiet record, largely worth getting, a real pleasure!

Yes, same here. Definitely not deliberate! :) and the mastering is great, it's just a crappy pressing. Really sad, Burning Question is the best track i've heard in a long while....

The rough mixes are absolutely fantastic. Some tracks are even better than the final mixes. It feels like Morrison is staying right in front of us... it's haunting.
But the vinyl is a disaster. First copy I had sounded like a G+. Went to ultra sound ... See full review

I completely agree, Optimal don't have any idea what Quality Control means, when you're lucky they do very honest pressing, but at least 50% of the records I buy that was pressed at them need to be sent back as they have all sorts of defects. It's really ... See full review

Really really good mastering, cuting and pressing job.
My copy is flawless which is really important for that kind of music!
Happily surprised!

I love Drumm and these are great pieces, but the pressing is quite depressing. Side C made me really regret my edition doesnt have the CD with it, so much background noise, on such a delicate piece, this doesnt really make any sense. And then again, if ... See full review

This is such a treat... Unbelievable sound, especially for anyone who's heard the awful repress that were done 2 years ago and which sounded so thin and poor.

I am seriously impressed by Numero group... those guys have a real commitment to keep on doing exactly the same years after years: pick up fantastic artists, dig into their material, craft crazy packages, invest money into remastering and ruin their ... See full review

Very clean, nice pressing, not sure who did the master but sounds to me as good as that done by Gray for Face to Face. Lovely Mono.
Only downside: ugliest and most useless inner Gatefold ever done ;)
Great buy!

This is such a pity... this record is stunning, the mastering precious, and all is ruined by the fact that the record was packed directly in the paper inserts and not in a separate protective insert. I got 2 copies and both have very very noisy paper ... See full review

Does anyone has any feedback about this pressing? Is it as bad as https://www.discogs.com/Alain-Bashung-Fantaisie-militaire/release/9111285 ? This is another Back in Black release which sounds like something worth staying away from as most of what they ... See full review

Very quiet vinyl, too, happy surprise on this. Careful job on the cover. Not sure what the source was but the records sound good.

The mastering is great job, but this is the noisiest pressing i have heard in a while... I have VG looking records that have less clicks and pops. Pressing by Optimal Media are anyways sometimes dispointing in my experience.

No indications of what were the sources, paper scuffs on the print that do not play, but this is an excellent reprint. Sound as good as the Rhino reprints for Atlantic.
