Yeah I listened to it side by side with posted versions of the song on the page. It seems just a hair fast and just a hair pitched up. No other 45s sound that way on this turntable.

Mine seems to play just a tad fast. I thought for a moment it was supposed to be a 33, but that was way too slow. It sounds sped up on 45. Anyone else?

You may be right about it not being the 1975 edition, and you may know something specific about barcodes being applied to albums, but barcodes did exist in 1975:
