Dude, the original US pressing on Homestead has two printed inner sleeves with lyrics and who plays what on what song.

Why is the self titled album not listed here? Strange. Somebody fix this.

Anybody know how this record was printed? It's not standard lithography as some of the black print is peeling up on my copy. It's not silkscreened either.

This box is fucking great. Great pop, great improv, great noise, great art, great packaging. So glad I got it.

I didn't get a poster either. A simple email solved that problem JNR are good people.

Mine is a gatefold. I can't believe how pricy these are. Mediocre at best.

Bootleg, yes? Who knows the sound quality? I'm guessing it is mastered off the cd?

Mine has over sized prints of the paintings from the book. I looked at them a long time ago and sealed them in the original package they came in. I think there are four. No mention of them in the listings. Anyone know any thing about the prints?

Started as a lo fi band. They stretched out a bit by the Natural Bridge. Song writing is top notch. Any of the records with Malkmus are gold. Last two long players are ok but the rest are fuggin' brilliant. Berman is a poet.

The Ethiopian song side is amazing. Han Bennink on drums! If you didn't get enough of Rose's playing on Turn, you can get more of her here. This needs a nice vinyl release.

I paid 27 bucks for it in LA. . . .

I think it needs its own listing. It is not Lumpy Gravy. The four track listing needs to be a discreet listing as it is the orchestral sections in full that were chopped up and interpolated on the Lumpy Gravy album. I love this record.

You may have heard this on the Lumpy Money cd but you only think you did. Drop it on your turntable, twist the volume knob up, and scare your neighbors.

Eh, I find it kind of run of the mill Bob. Please Be Honest and Class Clown and both Teenage Guitar records are better. Just listened to it.

Mine came with a folded poster of a skull. The bottom portion is blank so the club can print the particulars of the show.

My copy isn't on this site. BEG 91. Bar code 5012093009117. But here is the weird thing "Made and printed in the Phillipines by DYNA PRODUCTS, INC." Also says PARI member approved". Any one know what this means?

My Beach Boys obsession continues. I have the Brian Wilson Smile cd and I think I like this one better. Some how hearing the youth in their voices makes sound right. The pressing is clean. This is a must buy.

I have it. I think the quality is excellent. Good enough that a Gregarious Gin drinking guy seized them and sold them as Solid State products. Or so I heard through a member of the local groupe vine. Dig?

posted a review of Lou Reed & Metallica - Lulu. 9 months ago
Here is my two cents. I love Reed. Metallica sucks. The album as a concept could work if he hooked up with a band that had more nuance. Can you imagine what this might be like with Melvins backing him? Melvins for all their heaviness would bring a more ... See full review

I don't think this error is that rare. The Melvins group on Facebook has a lot of people with the error. I literally swapped the records in the jackets. The colors don't match any more, but the songs do.

Wrong. It is the 47th object in their discography. No cigar for you. 154 was named after the number of live shows they played up to that point. But whose counting?

Anybody have a long strange etching in the dead wax on the Read and Burn ep? Part of it is a repeated herring bone pattern that gives way to parallel lines intersected by a few horizontals, making a barbed wire fence feel, but not.
