Haven't been able to but Juno isn't bad - in stock now for about $37 to the US (probably a better price than you'll see once/if it hits the US anyway).

Readily available at Juno for $26 (plus $11 to the US). Fuck the sharks, this hasn't even been distributed to most stores yet and they're already pretending it's "worth" $115+.

Was this actually released widely in UK/Europe? At the time (late 90s) it was import-only (Japan and ?Australia)... The codes here suggest it was a Sweden-only issue. Anyone have more info on this? I'm skeptical...

Pretty disappointing selection to be honest. Many classics included, but some eras feel so misrepresented - the earlier years with Maki in particular miss a handful of obvious inclusions (Baby Love Child, Twiggy Twiggy), and the later years just... See full review

Saint Etienne are a British pop band, in no way involved with the Shibuya-kei movement that P5 (along with other Japanese artists like Cornelius, etc.) spearheaded. They do draw from many of the same influences (lounge, exotica, etc.) and have a lot... See full review

Unfortunately it's just been random (generally the few early, pre-1991) albums, mini-albums/EP and compilations getting reissued in recent years. I'd love a full album campaign with vinyl - or even settle for the US Matador albums. They do have a new... See full review

Interesting that they mention later album demos departed more dramatically from the final product (since they went away from their habit of rehearsing before recording). So while these are by comparison closer to the final versions, the later albums... See full review

It's definitely not worth it for what it is, and won't hold it's resale value in the future compared to vinyl (pity for whoever pays it). What's more irritating is that something meant as a nice bonus treat for fans is just being exploited for... See full review

These sound amazing!!! Really happy with the package overall (though notes on sleeves rather than on the back of the foldout poster would have been a bit better - as it stands you have to open it fully to read, and can't really use it as a poster... See full review

After waiting 12 years for a reissue, a little patience would benefit you. Order it online like everybody else - you'll get it eventually. Many UK releases don't get US distribution either, just be glad you're getting it at all!

Not sure why it's that strange of comment... I agree with the reservations about splitting this across 4 sides. It's not that long of an album, and is built to flow with all of its interludes, so stretching it feels like it loses some of the charm.... See full review
