This compilation has Strangers, The - Step Out Of My Dream (12" Mix) different than the Step Out Of My Dream vinyl EPs. Does anyone know where this version originally comes from?

Pure genius all the way through. Sometimes tribal, sometimes dark, sometimes even melodic. A must hear!

I can't believe how much overhyped Mr. Wade's productions are. Musically they're just lame. Mr. Wade is always trying to put together some sampled chords along with vocal or piano samples to make his productions sound like music, but his lack of musical ... See full review

All tracks here are solid detroit workouts here. Solid musicianship no hit-or miss sounds. But while a1 and a2 are quite typical for Iridite output, the B side stands out.
Methodology still being a post-detroit thing has a more trippy feel to it with ... See full review

These tracks all sound incredibly fresh and well produced 19 years after! The math-acid track Cycle is one of my favourites!

This is a shame to electronic music, and tracks like these give it a bad name in certain circles. Most tracks are covers of tracks by way more talented authors stripped down to bare boredom, whereas the originals are mostly two chords repeated over and ... See full review

This is is completely soulless. Mixing a new track every approx. 2 minuts doesn't really improve it, rather makes worse, but with tracks as dull as these there's no way you could put them on for longer. Do we really need humans to record mixes like this? ... See full review

Da Drum and God Damn Whole Sheabang are perfectly funky dance machines with some afro flavour. Just forget The Flying Dutchman and yo've got a perfect record.

This is some essential nighttime home listetning. Ranging from melodic detroit techno to space ´90s ambient, it hasn´t dated a bit in the last 18 years. The production is crystal clear, and very spacious. A true gem!

The best track on this lp, the "Clash Torn" is Mike Oldfield's Charleston, simply edited to be twice as long as the original, and with the very good trippy choir part cut out. I would even hardly call it an edit, IS THIS LEGAL??

Finally someone pointed it out on discogs. The most of 2000's dub techno is just a mere copy of what's been done in this genre in late nineties. Some early releases from 00's like Yagya, Exos finally polished the sound and gave it a warm, homelistening ... See full review

Judging by this record, dub techno has been heading towards a dead end for quite a long time. There is nothing innovative here , just quasi-haunting delays and "atmospherics". Music "for the fans of" is not good music.

Classic jazzclub jam flavoured house and funk. I would call it Moodymann style, although it precedes Moodymann by a couple of years. Also the sound is richer and brighter here. This is so great that I'm still discovering such gems.

The Asad Rizvi track stands out here - tribal mid-tempo percussive tracks with many flavours. Blue Hour is a standard rushed progressive track with no purpose. Blue Hour Slow Train is a dubby flavoured version of the above.
