this is NOT the same as the original 12", the title track is different (as heard on con 2+ cd by captain trip). it's a great version though, still worth it.

criminally underrated. in a better world this would be the holy grail.

:) i was actually talking about the tracklisting / credits font (not the title on the cover!) sorry for not making it clear but i hope you had fun anyway ;)

well, apparently the mov designer has the same attention to details as you. the creation one looks like univers, this one uses arial. clue is in the letter "y".

it is always a great pleasure to meet somebody who hates arial as passionately as i do!

honestly i'd prefer a 2x45 version rather than a bonus album but except some right channel crackle on b1 this pressing is flawless and miles' mastering is simply breathtaking

i guess the mov smm guy didn't really care to elaborate and just posted his generic "24/96" answer. it IS the same stampers as the 2005 reish (with the original cat# scratched out). even if it was cut back then from 24/96 by Jonz it is certainly not... See full review

to be repressed feb 2020 on 2x12" (two tracks per side + hand over hand)

note the tiny "remix" on the cover: this version has re-recorded vocals (both "rock to the beat" and "acieeed").

nah, it was a different font. this reissue only has original front cover picture, the rest is all re-typeset. i hate mov for things like that.

I tried to ask SV via Facebook about this, got no reply so I had to buy blindly. Yes, "Blue 1" here is full length. I guess this also applies to the Space Age edition.

yes, both outer and inner sleeve look like poor 72 ppi scans printed on an inkjet printer

it is a real crime that one of the best IDM/electronica albums ever is widely unknown and still unavailable on wax. a reissue would probably give the credit which this masterpiece deserves.

as you might notice from my other reviews i have a bee in the bonnet about fonts on reissues. ;) since the sleeve design was recreated and not just reprinted clone guys didn't quite nail it with the font, it is similar but not the same (the original... See full review

horrible artwork, text is re-typed with generic arial font, looks way more bootleg than the bootleg itself. GREAT sound though.

this pressing has nasty half second gaps between tracks which a) reveals its digital source and b) irritates af. wonder if another version has the same glitches.

the pressing to go for because of Stella spreading over the entire side (and it's 45rpm !!)

this album capturing the band at the peak of their powers (both in studio and on stage, saw them live in 1996 and it was mindblowing, lifechanging experience) deserves a PROPER double LP release, this one is mastered too quiet and muffled, 25+ minutes... See full review

the front cover is actually a low-resolution bitmap image scaled up to 12" size with every pixel being visible
while everything else about this reissue is absolutely fine this is really irritating: what is seen can not be unseen

one of THE electronic body music albums, very unique sounding. mixing ebm beats with weird vocals, minimal arrangements and adding that trademark french twist: obviously a big inspiration for le syndicat electronique and the likes. you'd better find... See full review

inspired by the likes of TG, SPK and most apparently Cabaret Voltaire (their classic trio phase), this swedish trio is an absolute must if you're into real industrial music. listening to these barking and growling vocals, bass-guitar riffs and... See full review

absolutely fantastic synth programming on this one. unlike many other so called "minimal synth" acts who mostly used to run a disco preset on a drum machine, sync it to a synth performing some really simple bassline, splash a few noise hits here and... See full review

what is really lame about this re-release is its horrible artwork! i don't know who came up with the idea of re-designing that beautiful handpainted picture of an aviator using cheap computer vector graphics (clipart stylee) and also standard windows... See full review

A truly outstanding album from Heiner Gehring who sadly passed away in 2004. This is a fairly odd mixture of harsh power electronics and minimal elektro heavily based on lo-fi casio-like sounds and trashy 8-bit blips and blops. You might have a... See full review

Although it was released at the belated peak of the electroclash hype in russia (2003), the album has absolutely nothing to do with that. This is mostly sensual yet dancey and sometimes playful electro pop music with a very soft "minimal" touch and... See full review

as said before, A-side sounds really very inspired by John Carpenter when played on 45 RPM, but when it is played on 33 RPM, as stated on the label, it gets way more spooky. :) also there is an excellent remix by Franz Falckenhaus on the B-side which... See full review
