18+ years on Discogs – it grew so much. But this site has been overtaken by people whose hearts are in the wrong place. Arbitrary, pedantic, amoral and lacking in all critical thinking skills. There is no vision beyond the site making money off Marketplace fees these days. Scaling back my contributions and I bid you a fond farewell.

Thanks for keeping it real, you true junglist soldier, you. I'm glad you have that underground street cred, since clearly I don't...

Whoever wrote “US male rap outfit” when referring to Tribe should be banned from writing forever.

This is an all-time Chicago classic, everything great about uptempo Chicago disco house in 1996 and 1997. Bumpin' and pumpin', courtesy of the criminally underrated Mark Almaria.

Classic atmospheric d&b record. The remix here starts with drums and is vastly different than the 1996 remix on The Funky Technicians* - Airtight (Remix) / Sound Trak.

"Solutions" sounds like it's a remix of Axis "Solutions" (on LGR 008 Solutions / Flutes from 1996).

Great series of late 1990s mixes from Montreal. On the Vol.3 insert, it lists these releases with somewhat confusing numbering:

MAR-CD-001 - Tiga (Vol.1: Montreal Mix Sessions – Tiga:Live, also did Vol.5: Mixed Emotions (Montreal Mix Sessions Vol. 5))
HEMI-002P - Cream 98 (not part of the series: ... See full review

The day drum & bass jumped the shark was the day this dropped. (Actually, it was probably something by Aphrodite before this record. But at least Aphrodite was fun on a dancefloor.)
