Welcome to my profile page

My first loves of music when I was 5yrs old were Pink Floyd, Beatles and 60's soul music. I have an eclectic taste, and love everything from Sam & Dave to Portishead, from Chez Damier to Queens of the Stoneage (with Dave Grohl on drums!) I also play the drums, nearly 20 years now, mainly in funk, ska, reggae and groove based bands. I think my love of playing vinyls has pushed this to one side for the moment but it is my roots in music. From a dj'ing and collecting aspect, my favouirte dance genres are deep, soulful and tech house from 1986 till present. Just love being involved with music and all the people who love it too :D

Here's some new stuff from me for 2014. The first link is an own composition and the second link is a deep house mix.

Thank you for visiting our Profile Page, hope you've enjoyed being here :-)

These releases really need to be on CD and vinyl as well imo.

O Briens Tower is amongst the stand out tracks here. As is Comet. Pure class again, loads of great stuff coming out of Portugal at the mo :)

Just such a lovely sounding record and very Ron Trent, as you would expect. Heavy, relaxed, tight, comfortable and vibrant. Love it!

My copy is spot on, no problems at all. Clear loud cut. Rumour has it this release was bootlegged, maybe you might have one of those copies?

No, I don't have this problem at all. Played my copy many times and it sounds amazing.

Amazing album mainly comprised of accordion and clarinet, with no percussion or much else. Wonderfully inspiring and simple in places, energetic and playful in others. For me personally, I think it makes for great background listening where moments ... See full review

Super bad release. 'Your Love' is just wonderful and imagine it has destroyed many dancefloors by now. One of those 'wish it would never end' tracks. Still eluding my own collection but the radar has been on for this one for a while.

My copy is perfect. Did all the people with a warped copy get them from the same shop/country ? Wondering if the shipment might have been damaged ?

I bought this record for the last track, Clouds Collide. To me, it's modern take on the sound of early 1990's chillout beats. It's not full of trick edits and they've done well to leave that out, I think it would get in the way of the lovely sounds and ... See full review

Great record that slipped under the radar, well for me anyway. I found this initially whilst looking for material from one of my favourite artists, Axel Boman whose tune here, Amazon Love has a wonderful 1950's film music feel about it. I didn't know ... See full review

I had a listen to Urbanism and think your review here is totally inappropriate. Yes there is a similar drum sound on one of the tracks but this is the classic sound of a Roland 606/707 drum machine, used by thousands of artists over the years.

Wonderful CD, had it in the car for months and some of the tunes have become firm favourites. From this CD, my personal favourite is Marcy Lee - Just Wanna Love You, which is a beautifully sung duet. There's a couple of bangers on here too as well as ... See full review

This record has the 12 minute extended mix and it's wonderful funky music. The Youtube clips here is only 9 mins and does not get across the fatness of the mix, like the vinyl does :) Try and get this one on NM if you can, but atleast a VG+, it sounds ... See full review

By no means the first use of Roland TB 303 but this is a great early example of it, being used for what it became famous for, rather than what it was intended for.

Killer EP but the standout for me is the Axel Boman mix. The main 'riff'sounds like a beautifully sculpted bit of electricity. I saw him play it in London without knowing it was his mix, the crowd was going mental. So was I.
