underrated record. great production, percussion and overall arrangement, one of the few forward-looking freestyle records of the time. Her vocal performance id very versatile and with a great vulnerable quality to it.

how big was this record in different parts of the world? In Canada, I gave some exposure in big clubs and with licensing from Sony Canada I felt it could have been huge.

Feels like this one never made it to Canada. I only know this song because of tapes I had back in the 90's from Power96 in Miami. I really like the Exodus mix. It captures the era perfectly. I should get my hands on this if I can

This record never made it to Canada. When I discovered it via an Acapella bootleg, it seems this record was ahead of its time for 1991 from the aesthetics. Very nice. Makes sense that Blaze was involved in it.

Emjay's voice and her expression works so well on Freestyle. Probably one of my fave records of the late 90s. Wicked production and songwriting not to mention vocal performance.

Chrissy sounds incredible. For years I thought La India sung this. SImilar tone and power. Marc's vocals are sick as well. I consider this a masterpiece.

Would love to confirm this. I have this album on vinyl. The song "Muevelo" is the original cut on the vinyl but on the credits it says Remix and credits Erick "More" Morillo for production.

I feel like this record is not very known even though on a major label. I only know one DJ that played it. It has amazing production, songwriting and performance. I am in Canada where freestyle was harder to come by. A big fan of this one. Great era.
