I'm pretty sure that on my copy there are 8 songs on the A-side, and 7 on the B-side.
A ends with 'Chosen Path', and B starts with 'Survival'. But it's hard to tell...

Going by an original copy of the tape and insert:
Tracks 3 and 4 seem to be reversed.
The Driver UFO song is "Little Birdie Feet (7 mph)"
The Totfinder is "Tomarkin / Big Bucks"
The Yum-Yum song is "Apiary"

Anybody know why this is blocked from sale here? Doesn't seem true for the label's other releases.

If anybody has a better scan of the art, I'd love to include it in a forthcoming discography of Scotland's punk and new wave bands (1977–84).

A6 is actually the song "Ugly." B1 is "Kiss Off." Each side has six songs on this Swing Shift version, but "Ugly" is not listed on the back. I don't know if this is true for any other version.

Anybody any idea of what NC 003 (or NC3) might have been?

Further research suggests it would have been a second One Takes 7", perhaps with three songs (“No Time Like the Present”, “Into and Out Of”, “Last Resort”). Production, and some piano, by Mike... See full review

This Ann Turner is the same as the Anne Turner from the Shift Records compilation, if anybody wants to tackle that. Bobby Heatley is from The Headboys. If anybody knows the year, that'd be great. Scottish band, early 80s, presumably.

There are, according to Peri Urban, two versions of this LP. They can be difficult to distinguish because the pressing plant used the first version's labels on the second. First version had eight songs, not much drumming, and had a large pressing; the... See full review

I have the "Reissue" version. I'll post the images here. If somebody handier at Discogs wants to go to the trouble of making a master release, that'd be great. Don't know if it was a second pressing. You'd probably have to ask John Laidler himself.... See full review

Yes, all copies are defective, but it's not damage, per se, it has to do with a flaw in the binder between the magnetic surface and the backing. Even if you can play the first couple of songs, eventually the surface starts peeling away from the... See full review

Yes. Poor tape quality. Surface doesn't bind to the backing well, so playing tends to end up really screechy as the magnetic surface lifts away from the tape. Some copies are worse than others, naturally. I sent mine off to a professional cassette... See full review

English, not Scottish, according to the liner notes from the Medical Records double LP reissue.
Reached out to the band (through the label) and learned they were from Bray, about 25 miles west of London.

The video link is to "In My Dreams" by the Sunday Painters; it didn't make the cassette, though it is from their set that night. And it's a photo montage, not concert footage.
