I completely agree with you. I'm not interrested in the least with the 12 inch singles (I completely stopped bying vinyls in the 90's) but the same happens with her CD Singles. Her last one "N'oublies Pas" : I was working the morning it was released. ... See full review

This boxed set was a very good idea but the thing where sometimes you have double A-side singles and sometimes you don't is all wrong. Because for instance, in Dead Or Alive's case you don't have all the "You Spin Me Round" mixes, neither all the "In Too ... See full review

These scandals don't mean much to me. I don't care about them. Nobody would ever gave the original singers the time of day without Rob & Fab and without them there would never have ever been a Milli Vanilli. I'm not a big fan of everything they did but I ... See full review

I am a big fan and even though I thought I had enough of "Brother Louie" and "You're My Heart, You're My Soul" remixes, I must admit that I was once again very surprised with the quality of these new mixes. I loved them all

except maybe for "You Can ... See full review

I agree with you. To me Dieter Bohlen is up there with Michael Cretu, Stock/Aitken/Waterman, the ABBA guys etc. Very few people are able to produce that much hits on such a long period of time. They may not ever get the respect they truly deserve but ... See full review

This is a great budget price collection. The individual sleeves are not really exact replicas of the original LPs but their back sleeves are close enough ("Select" being the most respectful back sleeve of the original LP).

Plus the sound has been ... See full review

I'm a very big fan of Kim Wilde and I supported her for more than 30 years now. But I must admit that I was very disappointed with this album. Too many loud guitars and drums and not enough synth tracks for me. But I am and I will remain a fan. I'll just ... See full review

The 1995 version is slower in pace than the 1996 version. But the 1995 extended remix of 8 minutes is better and more inventive that its 1996's counterpart of 6 minutes or so, even though the 1996 single version is nicer. Also the 1995's sleeve is yellow ... See full review

I've just checked them one by one. Indeed the Curiosity tracks are all available and spread throughout the 2004-2006 remastered double-CD's of "Three Imaginary Boys", "Seventeen Seconds", "Faith", "Pornography" and "The Top".

It is even mentionned in ... See full review

"Introspective" is perhaps the last "classic" album for the Pet Shop Boys, even though the number of tracks is not really like on any other "standard" album. To me this is the last PSB album I can listen to from start to finish without skipping any track ... See full review

"Please" is with "Actually" and perhaps "Very" and "Yes" one of the best PSB albums ever (no matter what the "Behavio(u)r" lovers out there will say). What's not to like about this album ? 4 top singles : the cult "West End Girls", the lovely "Love Comes ... See full review

Although I'm not a big fan of the album "Bilingual" as I've already wrote before, I love the track "Discoteca" which would have made more sense as a single than err the actual single "Single-Bilingual". "Discoteca" is with "Up Against It" the only 2 ... See full review

"Bi-lingual" is one of my least favourite PSB album (only "Release" seems worse to me) and "Before" is by far the weakest 1st single ever released from a PSB album to date.

I never understood why the Pet Shop Boys prefered the Jam & Spoon remix over the Coconot 1 one for the official single version when the Jam & Spoon was so dark and the Coconut 1 so "insanely good" and way more high-energy and in the spirit of the "Very" ... See full review

I was very found of the album version of "I Woudn't Normally Do This Kind Of Thing" (because it's quite short and to the point) until the Beatmasters single remix came along. I love this new take on the song (more sixties in style). It's just a little ... See full review
