Great original track, shame it's not on this 12" though! What you get instead is a vocal and piano version, vocal only and then two remixes. Herbert's remix is enjoyable and twists the song in a different direction but stays close to the originals ... See full review

Really enjoyable release, first I've heard from them. This is mostly rather ambient piano pieces with other acoustic/electronic instruments mixed in. It's sometimes hard to hear for sure what is acoustic and what is electronic due to the recording and ... See full review

This is my first time really listening to this music. The game has always rubbed me the wrong way, I just don't get along with the stop/start nature of the time travel and a lot of the level design looks and feels randomly generated to me and not ... See full review

Yeah, mine are fairly warped too. Shame. The general sound is better than I feared it could be though. Especially seeing as a whole side is vocals only, was worried it'd sound awful.

Mostly mid-tempo lurching/stamping head-bobbing tracks from Aleksi on this.

It has some of the flavours of the later releases in his Colundi sequence but is much more "straight forward" than some of his often complex and drum heavy pieces. Here the ... See full review

An incredibly noisey guitar duo record. You get the sense (as with most Dead C and Gate records) that the collection of tracks here are mere documents picked out from many recordings. You can hear this was recorded to tape (maybe cassette) as there are a ... See full review

I notice this listing has Luv Your Life running at 4:13. Is this actually the case for this particular release? If so I'd love to hear this edit.

Agree! This is a lot of music to cram on a single vinyl as is. Plus the outro is very skipable.

Very different edit and mix to the album. Stripped back to just guitars and drums mostly and some very jarring edits at the start of the track if you know the track inside out from listening to the album. Still, interesting to hear, especially if you ... See full review

The only place the Van Dyke Parks premix of Luv Your Life was released. Such a great version. Amazing sounding pressing too.

Sounds great. I used to have the gatefold signed (but stupidly sold it) and this sounds just as good as that. I had two copies of the black Music On Vinyl version and both had the same issue of being able to faintly hear two grooves at the same time ... See full review

This album has never sounded so good. Makes me wonder whether it was originally recorded to tape rather than digital as it sounds way better than I ever remember the CD sounding. Great reissue all in all.

Sounds really nice to my ears (only listened to Dracula X so far).

I like the packaging although I wish it was a little brighter, its hard to make out all the nice details of both the back and front. The inside is damn glorious though! Love the artwork ... See full review

Sounds good and clean if a little on the flat side.

The packaging I kind of like and kind of hate. The red gloss and overall design is a bit underwhelming. I like the front but to use the exact same design template for the inside and back just feels ... See full review

Nice sounding pressing, I haven't heard the RSD white vinyl version but apparently that had some pressing problems. As far as I can hear they haven't made their way on to the black version thankfully.

Here's hoping this doesn't have the same issues I had with the black copy. Shame it's, again, not replicating the original gatefold.

For mine it's after track 4 which is the last of the 'Imaginary Songs'. I can only assume it's intentional as a way of separating these shorter pieces from the two parts of 'The Contraceptive Briefcase II'. This way the release doesn't have to be a 2 ... See full review

Fantastic sounding vinyl. Also, great album. One of my favourites, an album that opened my ears to how electronics and rap could collide and coalesce.

An odd curiosity that came out toward the very beginning of Devo's life (in terms of albums at least). So most of the tracks are covers of tracks from Q/A. Some of it is fun, some of it is bizarre, some of it misses the mark, a lot of it is gimmicky but ... See full review

My copy has the first first track of 'Day by Day' ending side A. Side B starts with 'Gretal's Tale' and only has 3 tracks.

I'd imagine it's like this on all copies of this reissue so I'll change this for now but if anyone can confirm their copies too ... See full review

One of my all time favourite albums. Really nice collection of tracks each with a mind and logic all their own. Somehow both unnerving and relaxing. Lovely electronic and acoustic blend with some field recording elements. Highly highly recommended.
