Yet another fantastic sounding Data Discs release. Personally I prefer my records to come in poly-lined sleeves (keeps the records better protected from static and scratches) rather than the card ones here but the overall packaging design and choice of ... See full review

Only listened once so far, but immediate impressions... similar to 'There's a light that enters houses...' in that it is spoken word over rather sparse instrumentation; there are differences between the two but they somehow compliment each other. Whereas ... See full review

Very nice sounding cassette. Heard a few sounds I had not even heard before on CD and Vinyl which was a nice surprise.

No problems here that I'm aware of, that's really unfortunate. Maybe get in touch with Iam8bit, I'm sure they'd replace it... they should anyway. Good luck dear Rompcat!

Really nice sounding tape to my ears, bass drum on Satisfaction is particularly weighty and the stereo seperation is great. Have to take off Dolby NR though to make it sound like the vinyl version. Sounds very muffled with Dolby on (maybe that's the ... See full review

Only listened through once so far but really enjoyed it. It is a dense noise but not oppressive. The drumming is particularly insistent and repetitive which gives the music a trance like quality and the sound around the drums isn't just 100% all the ... See full review

I wouldn't necessarily say this sounds better than the CD versions but it does sound rather good and noticeably different. Guitars are a little less crisp but not to the detriment of the music.

This album is easily one of my favourite Therapy? albums ... See full review

Not the kind of music I usually listen to. As far as electronic music goes I'm more likely to be listening to Kraftwerk, Yello, YMO, Gas, Matmos etc than the full on 'shake your booty in the club' music that Tiga tends to make... saying that I've always ... See full review

Electrified II is a bonus track? It's one of the best tracks here, just wish it was longer.

I'm tempted to say the FLAC versions although the vinyl version does sound nice.

A somewhat flawed album that pales in comparison to their later output. This is Japan still in Glam Rock mode but there are hints of what was to come next. In many ways the album feels like a prototype of their later sound and so it is a curious item in ... See full review

One of the strangest Richard Youngs releases I own... saying something that! It's a full throttle hardcore album backed by a drum machine running at full pelt.

As usual with Richard Youngs the mix and production is a big part of the overall picture. The ... See full review

Grows on me with each listen. When I first heard it it didn't leave much of an impression on me and I quickly put it back on the shelf. But every time I pull it back off the shelf I like it more and more.

Nice release, the Techno Animal track is nice and crunch the way Broadrick likes it it would seem. The Dalek track has a midnight, slow and brooding feel which is both sinister and enveloping. The remixes are great too. A highly recommended 12".
