It doesn't surprise me that this is the first review of Commercial Suicide here in its 15 years of existence. The label is often overlooked, despite a consistent solid output. Klute's unique, often self-depricating, sense of humor often accompanies ... See full review

posted a review of Loadstar - Lifeline / Switch. over 2 years ago
Loadstar are better than this. Lifeline is a poor effort all around. Switch, known for being the tune that Andy C rewound in his Glastonbury set, is very similar to their earlier track Warrior. Despite this I still like it. I give Lifeline a 1 and Switch ... See full review

Not as big a release as RAMM100 in either size or impact, and thanks to all the moving around of the catalogue numbers this year it wasn't actually the 200th release chronologically. The most notable thing to see is that Culture Shock's infamous "Piano ... See full review

Rene concludes a big year with his second album. It's good, but not groundbreaking, as there aren't many songs exclusive to it. (Half of the songs on it were already released earlier this year, and Where My Ladies At has been out for over 18 months!) ... See full review

posted a review of Logistics - Fear Not. over 3 years ago
This is generally considered Logistics' worst album. It's partially a product of its era, when Hospital as a whole was pushing a particularly mainstream sound, and this is no exception. There's a lot of what I consider filler here, and even several of ... See full review

I'm trying to figure out the logic that some sellers seem to have where when they're selling a release for a ridiculously price and it's been sitting unsold for a long time, they raise the price even higher.

Beautiful release. Repress needed.

Dawn Wall appeared seemingly out of nowhere in the middle of 2015, but according to several sources, this is a new alias of a well-known drum & bass producer. Whoever he (or they) may be, the music I've heard so far is some great liquid. One to watch.

Beautiful album, very smooth liquid drum & bass sound with a few slower bits. Will be in my regular rotation for a long time to come. Highly recommended.

The standout track for me here is Maschinen. Pull Me Under is pretty good, but lately much of Dimension's work has sounded almost exactly like Culture Shock and the track here is no exception. Maschinen, then, is a breath of fresh air. The track has a ... See full review
