Side A actually is meant to be played at 33 1/3, contrary to the "45 RPM' on the label.

No, it's not stupid; it's actually thoughtful and accurate. Nor is it pointless: the album has a Radio Side and a Street Side. 'Radio' implies no cursin'; 'Street' connotes cursin'. Addressing the review to the fact that the Radio Side has cursin'... See full review

Vocal side has a different mix from the 12" & D.E.B. 7". It's also mastered a half step slow, so increase the pitch by 2.5%.
Version side is "Tennament," same as on the Joe Gibbs 7". Both are edits of Black Uhuru-"Rent Board" from the D.E.B. 12". ... See full review

Version side = "His Imperial Majesty" from Prince Jammy Presents Uhuru in Dub LP.

Vocal side is an edit of the 12" vocal portion.
Version side is a 3:34 edit of the Lee Scratch Perry track "Loving," from the Black Ark in Dub LP. That LP is the longest edit of this dub version I've heard.

Shotgun snare-drum sound reminiscent of Paul Cook & Steven Adler. "Time Will Supply the Answer" = "Turn! Turn! Turn!"/"Blowin' in the Wind" medley, a six-and-a-half-minute full-choir crescendo piece in slow 4/4 that ends in screaming apocalyptic terror.

The 'Rub-a-Dub Party' version starts with Johnny O's vocal, has some great snare reverb, wild crossfading between the guitars and drum/bass, judicious use of fast delay, has some harmony vocal drops, and would probably mash up a big room.

You want gutwrenching? This is your record. Both sides are bleed-all-over-the-wax ballads, the A-side in 6/4 time, the B-side a 4/4 funk ballad. The chord progression on the flip is nothing less than severe, and it sounds like she's actually crying... See full review
