That song was not originally on the original album. It was a bonus drug on the 2017 release.

It was on the original CD in Europe though back in 1992. So Music On Vinyl being Dutch guys are keeping it right for us here in the UK. :) See full review

What do you clean with? If it comes to it, and it often does in the 21st century (I miss the old days), I literally drench my vinyl in isopropyl alcohol mixed with de-ionised water and a microdot of Kodakflo. Then rinse with fresh de-ionised water.... See full review

Typical of finely crafted vinyl from that time. Solid thick pressing with rich reproduction. The dialogue isn't super clear, has to be said, but largely due to the performers dropping their voice. George Martin presumably didn't mike the stage quite... See full review

Sadly this is not a unique story with records coming through and from GZ Media. Despite their long history, their claims of high quality and their ubiquity in the market, they produce disappointment after disappointment. I've also seen thumbprints... See full review

The LP sounds absolutely fine. The beginning of Side Two is a good reference point. Plenty of top end, warm and deep lower end. Drum kit, when it comes in, sounds authentic, open and clear. There's not a lot of guitar on this record anyway. Why would... See full review

Completely different experience to the other reviewer. All sides of my copy are completely absent of ANY pop and click. I'm well aware of that issue with new vinyl but this is exceptional. Lucky? Or was the other reviewer unlucky? Who knows. But it's... See full review

My copy, ordered in December 2023 and arrived (just now) in January 2024 has the matrix runout details: 144540E1/E & 144540E2/D. Side One is pressed from a new stamper?

So we need TWO new entries!

I'm afraid I beg to differ with the consensus here. Unlike the more organic and human grooves of The Chic Organisation's 12" records released from 1977 to 1980, we're bombarded within the first minute of this remix by the girls' vocals assigned to a... See full review

How’d they do that?

Have you not heard the classic 10cc albums they did with Stewart and Gouldman? There were elements of this that would weave throughout the early stuff.

In fact, if I didn't know it was Godley And Creme,... See full review

As a comparison with the other reply, yep it is a decent pressing but it DID need two cleans to get rid of pops during a couple of tracks and some clicks on the run-ins for each side.

Why don't you just read the sticker? That should do the trick...

Gorgeous. That is, if you're a Tyrannosaurus Rex fan (which I am). Not so much if you're more of a T-Rex fan (which I'm not). I've seen people on comment negatively about this as if they are the same band!
Anyway, for those with knowledge of... See full review

I'm guessing you're not 57 years old like me. Like the two box sets of 7" singles that pissed some off, this is packaged pure those who are nostalgic for objects related to the time. It's meant to mimic the boxes of BASF studio tape (the BOWIE is in... See full review

Bluesy, sort of...but for anyone out there wondering about it, they never allow any American blues anywhere on Side 4. It stays modal all the way. No blue notes (phew!!). And at one point, it goes gloriously 'whole note scaley'. That's the beauty of... See full review

Is it raw, or is it just spontaneous? Side 3 I'm thinking particularly here. They listen to each other while evolving their own parts. The bass player in particular. It's more like modernist contemporary music rather than merely psychedelic ('merely... See full review

Plus if the vinyl goes on, I sit down and stay there listening.

I often think 'limited' is something to be taken with a grain of salt.

I know what you mean especially if there's a repress. Mind you, often there's a particular total number specified somewhere, not always here.
