Ah yes, this is the good stuff. Dark, fast, clean, trippy, acid, trance with a bouncy bass drum. Unintelligible vocal sample, melody of a sort from distorted duck samples (whatever they are), punctuated with hats and snare rolls. Lots of room for each... See full review

"analyze the following statement", 'nothing is unthinkable to me, for to think of nothing is not to think at all'. Classic samples from a classic track. Rich, bubbly, layered and trippy Goa trance, this is a slow growler of a track that i loved on... See full review

it is very hard to pick a favourite side to this gorgeous slice of sonic mastery.
the original mix is low key, a slow, building piece, with understated acid, well behaved and clean that bursts into unexpected melody before subtly upping the energy.... See full review

how did we survive the huge amounts of lsd and then hearing tracks like these? mad times. Free lemonade is a masterpiece, capturing the fraught risks we indulged in on those trips chasing madness. There's a general 'avin' it vibe, an intent to have... See full review

giving 'stalking the wild controller' some love. For me, this is a standout track - the growling, driving basslines very much midbrain stuff that fits the audiodrome 'reptile mind' line that Tristan took (before totally destroying the trance scene in... See full review

Today was a good day. This record was the first I ever had stolen. I bought it at Tectonic records, when they'd moved to behind Oxford street, and played it at a new year's 2000 gig under London Bridge.
Last time I ever saw it. I've been searching for... See full review

My copy even looked as dog eared as this. If anyone knows where the PvD mix can be found, i'd be keen to get an electronic version. My vinyl died somewhere in thailand, worn out

Listening to this now, I realise how on the edge of straight up techno my psy tastes evolved into. Minimalist, almost Pounding Grooves basslines, clean textures and crunchy hats. Yummy.

Really a truly epic and satisfying EP. Made for huge warehouses before big room was a thing.

I had a white label of this, never knew what it was until now. Love it. The flying rhino tunes were so big and clean and right at the time.

heh, I dropped this at a festival in 2016 and everyone loved it then too.

I think that you can push a build up over an hour or more - and to do so, cutting away, or at the very least layering and adding beats to the intro and outtro of tracks is quite important. Layering supportive beats (even if just a 'distant' heartbeat... See full review

micromega is an astoundingly good track, that i still slip in to sets, and the whole album is something i love listening to in its entirety.

The bumbling loons remix is a classic that stands the test of time, and still works alongside modern tracks, with a bit of enhanced kick and bass to edge it along. The introductory noises sweeping across the soundstage are lovely and the pacing of the... See full review

My first acid techno record. Sounds awful on youtube, the vinyl itself was crisp and clear and, at the time, amazing.

i can't believe i used to love these parties so much. Listening to the tunes 18 years later, and they sound so horrid. Back in club 414 or out in the country somewhere they were just fun.

This album is epic. No idea why it isn't universally loved - It came out a little bit after a routemasters acid techno party at tyssen street, and one of the live acts had a short in their 303, with the electrical short ripping through the place at... See full review

fat and heavy, both tracks do well later at night, As a child i could walk on the ceiling is hypnotic and driving, and tribaliser has a slightly more relaxed feel. Best played loud.

wow. I'd forgotten what this track was (promethean process - clarity from deep fog). It was in one of my old mixes and i thought perhaps slinky wizard (and so had failed to find it!). really glad to find out who it really is, so i can get the digital... See full review

best EP ever. The chunky beats of Martian arts, following that epic start, ring in my head without need of reminder and i can picture the exact moment i heard another DJ play it out at a cosmic carrot gig. If you haven't heard it, do it now.... See full review

YES! love this track. It came out as the scene was moving away from goa floweriness into more stripped down sounds. The sound systems were getting cleaner (at least where i was living) and this one fitted right in.

i've always really liked this track (internal horizon). For me, it is made for warehouse raves - some huge system vibrating concrete walls and floors, with the sounds bouncing around inside as if they are alive. Sounds pretty chronic on my laptop, its... See full review

this track haunted me. I first heard it in a wee record shop on cold harbour lane in brixton and had to have it. Then came years of trying to mix the darn thing! Beautiful, emotive, transporting and relentless, an awesome combination.

did you listen to it on a massive rig? These old classics really don't translate well to headphones or to small rigs. They were made for 40kW systems, vibrating your very being, so the balance of sounds fits well into a club or a forest or a... See full review
