Anyone having this with black&white WB Records logo on top? Barcode, cat. nr. is the same, but labels are different.

Besides the music - which is really free and joyful from start to finish - I also find the sound quality superb! The recording and pressing succeeded to incorporate the sound of the two drummers and the small details like minor harp chords also earn... See full review

My - freshly opened - copy has a few clicks, pops and distorted sounds on side B, and track B1 after a few bars has a significant static noise like error.

If you don't know this modal masterpiece, definitely give it a chance. Expect some grandiose phrasing, tight instrumentation and a touch of spiritual jazz. One of my best sounding records btw.

Exceptional contemporary jazz album with complex soundscapes far beyond jazz.

If someone is not familiar with this album: exceptionally diverse presentation of styles within the big band territory with great quality of the orchestration and excellent playing.

I recently bought a copy and I'm not totally pleased with the pressing.

The best sounding recording (not only talking about the vinyl pressing but the overall sound recording) I've ever heard.

This is the worst sounding record in my entire collection. Avoid it in any case!

Does anybody have the non-gatefold cover version of the same Argentinian pressing? Me having one with the same catalogue number.

One of the greatest albums in the history of laidback, Vienna-style grooves. The songs are well based, bass oriented like hip-hop, but deep and funky with dub attitude. The rhythm structure of some songs seems very simple at first sight, the grooves... See full review

Excellent collection of the golden era of easy listening music. When you listen to The John Schroeder Orchestra's The Bird Has Flown, you'll know where the vocal theme of Herbaliser's Something Wicked... comes from.

Listening to the works of Nickodemus the word 'World Music' gets a better meaning. I don't like this term, but nothing fits better this kind of real melting pot music, where arabic, latin and black music elements come together - in a very funky way.... See full review

Highest quality of psychadelic hip hop, using elements and moods of psych-rock, folk and even blues. Warmly recommended to the fans of Nu Mark and the Up Above releases, but also the lovers of Four Tet will come out good from the game.

One of the records at the beginning of the electronic music revolution determined my awareness towards music. Brilliant, atmospheric, psychedelic. It naturally balances between jazz, dub, trip-hop, and spoken-word-sample art. Should be an object... See full review

Strong and eclectic in style E.P. from the guys as always, although the title track is spookily similar to the reputed Spiritual South track entitled Green Gold (rhythm, piano line), what is a bit hang-up to me.

This beautiful release is what you might think as emblematic, when you dig the deep/tech/jazzy house label in a recordstore. This is all the three categories, sure. And the artwork is excellent too.

I heard that tune (Acid Soul) in a Dzihan&Kamien DJ-set and felt absolutely enchanted. After two years of searching I found the vinyl in an online store. It's worth the price, 'cos the other electro-house side works too, but the A-side track is a... See full review

Submerge works as a good warm-up deep house track, but Macropy is the better one here, a sensitive, warm leftfield-downtempo track, ideal for chillin' the crowd anywhere.
