Any idea why this is a ‘club edition’? There appears to be no difference to the regular edition...
Very much intrigued...

One of the very few, possibly only, live recording of the band made in 1972. The recording quality is rough to say the least, but this somehow fits the atmosphere of the music. Very listenable for a low quality recording. The stuff of legends.

This version has the typewritten-style labels from the first edition, indicating this was probably the remainder of the official first edition, but given a new cover. Seeing the scarcity of this version, there cannot have been that many made.

Stay away from this release! It is just someone who owns a lathe cut for picture disc cutting. He creates discs 'on demand' using random images for bands, including pornographic ones. And charges way too much money for the privilege.

Don't believe the hype that Mr Stoutfellow is trying to spread. Wild Life is a charming, loose-recorded album with some great tunes. Many of the best albums were recorded over a short period and in one take. Basically every version released is an ... See full review

Amazing record! If someone really really wants a copy, I have number 33 in my collection in a VG+ condition. For a really serious offer I might reconsider my decision not to sell it.

Interesting, this looks like an unofficial release, as not all band members gave permission to previous releases. This is identical to an earlier 3cd release, which included a live disc from the 1977 Flint show, which seems to be missing on this version. ... See full review
