Martyn Ware is credited with Linn Drum programming on this LP. Would be interested in a source for your assertation that Martin Rushent had anything to do with it.

I have a Lou Reed CD (also on RCA) with the same sticker. I suspect it may be part of a promotional campaign to get rid of old stock at bargain prices.

This CD is in the Phillips CD-Video format, and therefore requires a special hardware player. They can't be played on a PC or a DVD player.

"We're Going To Live For A Very Long Time" re-uses the rhythm track to "Marianne" by the Human League. Was this a sly dig at their ex-colleagues? Who knows.
