March 22, 2022 and now October 7, 2023 and now December 2024...and after? :
Very serious things are happening in the world at the moment. There are people who are really suffering, many die every day. It's out of the question that our presence on the site becomes the subject of any futile guerrilla war between us, for problems finally miniscule compared to the daily dramas. I'm on DiscOgs for pleasure and to take my mind off things, even more so in these troubled times. Avoiding the slightest conflict or worries will be my priority, know that.

You have to do on DiscOgs what you think you can and should do, and have fun doing it. However, do not expect any recognition or special kindness.

October 12, 2024: For different reasons, I'm going to take a step back, for a moment, and limit my time on the site. To finally only take care of my own collection and monitor my many new references added over the past 9 years. But I can intervene or vote on events that are of particular interest to me.
There is sometimes a huge difference between what I can submit or edit and what I actually like in music, and therefore in no way reflects my musical preferences. What's more, the list of my collection is private and will remain confidential, in response to requests from several users.
I only make corrections/edits on references that I have in hand or submitted, very rarely on others, unless again if special interest

My two qualities on the site? I do what I say, and above all I say clearly what I do: when I create one of my submissions (which can maybe sometimes a little incomplete), however I make sure that no doubt can ever creep in, especially about the format and the essential differences that might exist in relation to other informal or ridiculously slapdash submissions (Most of the time, their interviewed OS or owners never reply). All my submissions are always accompanied by any necessary photos to avoid any possible confusion. Then if a merger after study can sometimes be envisaged, this will have to be done most of the time in the right direction, whatever the anteriority of the submission on the site. This is only in the interest of the Database. And this will be my only requirement on DiscOgs. Please, please...thanks!
One last thing: I hate charlatans and petty people, whether artists or DiscOgs users, who publish/edit ridiculous or pedantic and completely useless things.
