Disappointing release. My review here will hurt my market value - but true is true. Muffled presentation - no dynamics and very flat sound stage.

I have both of these Iggy classics ... unfortunately mine are highly muffled and fidelity is labored - virtually no separation of instruments - all sounds like a Spectre Wall-of-Sound played throu gh balls of cotton. :( - the LP needs to be cranked to ... See full review

Perfect sonics - IMHO - lovely pressing and so cool to have Jump Into the Fire pounding out of my speakers ... RIP Harry.

OK - hooked up my old dbx decoder and this disc is not encoded. running through the dbx merely lowered the sonic performance. DBX decoder definitely not needed to enjoy this great pressing.

I have a copy of this as well. I am not exactly sure what a DBX decoder is for vinyl - and I don't have one (as far as I know) but this plays awesome on my Rega with Dynavector cartridge and phono stage - very quiet with excellent dynamics. Rock On Elton.

I read elsewhere that Plain Recordings Label has had some poor reviews. However, this pressing plays excellently on my kit. Been a Snider fan for a long time and pleased that someone pressed him to vinyl, as quite rare to find his catalog in wax. The ... See full review

I just picked up their reissue of Todd Snider - Songs from the Daily Planet - I also have Elliott Smith Figure 8 - Snider is much better - actually plays quite well - greater sonic stage and detail than the CD/MP3s ... Smith does have some too high Gain ... See full review

My copy is pristine - also bought new at Amoeba Records. Very clean and mastered well.

Does anyone else have a copy with the covers reversed? Normally the front cover has the spine on its left edge, and it opens like a normal book does. My copy of this JB vinyl has the spine to the right - is this a misprint?

Hi - this boxset is quite impressive. I am generally not interested in box sets and I even have 2 of these titles in different format. However, I love vinyl & Cash - and decided to pop for this. The packaging is very strong, and the vinyls themselves ... See full review

I find the fidelity and depth of this pressing to be outstanding...any other experiences? Ms Nicks' vocals simply leap off this vinyl!

Hi - I am reticent to disagree with a fellow collector, and each pressing - as a physical rendering - can be quite different, but my copy is pristine. I am playing it now and the vinyl is super clean & quiet, and the music delivers deep sound/bass with ... See full review

My Version of this UK first pressing has a Rear Cover with reproduction flaws. Color overlays set uneven, making for "image shadow effect."
