Avoid this “USA & Canada” pressing, rubbish QC (not pressed at Pallas like the US and Europe reissues). Got this by accident, each side had copious amounts of non-fill, stitching, absolutely avoid.

The music itself is amazing, definitely an achievement. The mastering lends itself well to vinyl, sounds great.

Wild that no one has reviewed this anywhere online, only press releases, completely slept on. Repeat listens, great use of sonics, thick early internet atmosphere (even a dial-up sample on B1, might be a little on the nose but I’m not angry about it)....

CZ is the Czech Republic, not the pressing plant. From the info listed here I can’t tell which one it comes from; the two bigger plants in CZ are GZ and Pirates Press (affiliated with GZ). I’ve had worse results with PP (they usually leave “PIRATES...

Audible (clicks and rips) non-fill and stitching on my copy and a replacement copy. Not the worst I’ve heard from Optimal but really not great for a(n expensive) release that relies on ambience and subtle sonics.

This is one of the two most reliable pressing plants in Europe (the other being Pallas). They are not 100% but probably 90-95% on their QC, which is much more than can be said than just about everyone else. I'd give them equal or better marks than Pallas.
