My first electronic vinyl record ever. Bought it at Spacehall in Berlin back in April 1995. I still love to listen to it, even play it in DJ sets because the music is just pure bliss and timeless.

Lovely reissue and first time on vinyl. What a surprise. I've been in love with this album ever since it was released 10 years ago and was always annoyed that it didn't make it on vinyl. Now it's out there, lovely pressing, beautiful color vinyl and my ...

Also got a copy from Bleep. The sound is perfect. Very rich, spacial and booming. Not noisy at all except for the track "g1e1" on LP8.

What is "unacceptably warped"? Did you play them and had problems?
|

Since the sound quality is crisp and perfect, there is actually no point in returning this beautiful box set. If you look closely on your record player, most records are slightly warped. Needles generally only jump if the needle or the record player is ...

Pretty scary and disturbing yet beautiful music. Reminds me a bit of his Shostakovich experiment as V/VM back in 2003... Under all the noise and chaos there are always little melodies lurking, blossoming for seconds just to be drowned again by the tidal ...

Yeah, same here. For some odd reason this track has lots of crackling noise. But perhaps it's part of the plan? You never know with Autechre.

Yes, the inner covers and records are slightly warped but as stated quite a few times now it doesn't affect the play. Except for "g 1 e 1" the pressing is superb and chrystal clear. The packaging is great and we don't have to talk about the music... pure ...

OntrackV2 is so Luke Vibert aka Amen Andrews! Just listen to the melodies!

Because the sharks are circling for the money... [plus 2 words].

This is probably one of the best Acid Ambient Techno records ever released. A classic to say the least. Still sounds pretty fresh.

I guess it's the same pressing. They probably just kept a few copies for themselves to make more money.

So this is actually not an official release or actually a release at all. Why is it listed?
|

Well, that is the point of Record Store Day. Repressing / remaking old records for a high price ;-)
But this is actually a quite good FSOL release. Good sound quality (you should listen to the RSD 2018 release of Amorphous Androgynous "The Isness (Abbey ... See full review |

If it would be so easy. There is no point in turning up the volume. If the input is low-level / surpressed sound, you won't get a better sound quality by purely turning up the volume. It just amplifies a bad sound. It's shit in, shit out. Unfortunately.

To be fair the versions on the original EP (part 2-4) are also completely different from the original. That has always been that way with FSOL. I am actually quite surprised that they used so many references to the original. It's quite a good EP and I'd ...

Pretty bad (quiet) pressing. Also some crackling. In particular since FSOL music is all about clear, lush sounds. Don't know when they became so greedy, profit-oriented... Considering the price and amount of music, this should have been released on 2lp.

Where is my vinyl release for this gem? Come on!

I had a similar issue when I bought it back in 2010. The poster was missing. I contacted my record store and they organized an additional poster though. Worked out pretty nicely.

As of Dec 22nd 2017, 542 people have and 542 want the record. COME ON YOU SLAGS, LET'S SWAP!

What a master piece. Brilliant atmosphere, heavy grooves and basically overtaking most dubstep releases before they were even released.

Check again. There is a CD + 3x12“ listed for the release.

Discogs have started to block ALL unofficial releases / bootlegs from the marketplace. Seems they are afraid of some law enforcement. It costs Discogs reputation though. I just headed back to ebay to sell my bootlegs (which feels like 2001 all over ...

His best Analogue Bubblebath release, apart from the Hangable Auto Bulb EP of course.

The first track is mesmerising. The rest is pretty boring. Really not worth the price tag. And if you really need this record, go check the unofficial Analogue Bubblebath 1-5 bootleg. It's all on there for less money.

That's good news. Thanks for the heads-up! On which label? And is the release date fixed yet?

If at all this doesn't account for all copies. The pressing of my copy is actually quite good.

So Discogs starts to block white label pressings from the Marketplace. A pity... I still sell my copy though ;-)

I got the grey issue and the sound is fine. No distortion, no clicks.
|

I got the opaque-grey version and it's perfect. No noises, no non-fill patterns.

Has there ever been another version of this release? Does a black version exist? If so, it's actually the black on which is missing.

What a record. What a selection of pure sound. I'm really happy that some of Abul Mogard's old stuff is finally released on vinyl. It could have been more copies though :-)

Why don't FSOL provide download codes with their records? That's actually very annoying...
|

There is a skip on my first track, cleaning won't help. But I agree, the pressing is generally good - except for the tracks mentioned above.

Saw them live yesterday. Brilliant!! Cameron Brennan on the drums is utter genius, a mixture of a Swiss clockwork and muppet show's Animal.

Quite solid release music-wise. First two records go the typical FSOL sound of the last years. It's good to see that they are trying new terrain on Views, which is purely piano-centered and goes into some Eno inspired neo-classic. Unfortunately, FSOL ...

Does anyone have pressing issues too? First track on A skips and the last track on side E has lots of noise on my copy.

Rephlex actually returned the rights for the releases to the respective artists. So it's up to them to do whatever they want with it. That's for example why the Mike & Rich saw a rerelease on Planet µ (Mike Paradinas' own label) last year.
