I had similar issues with 2 Norah Jones 33rpm AP. Acoustic Sounds are very good about replacing them but they cost a fortune to send to Canada.

Though the label on the record says 'Stereo' this issue is a mono recording and plays superior with a mono cartridge over a stereo cartridge.

On the Sam Records website it mistakenly had it listed as stereo issue (which has been corrected). Mono it is. You can play a mono recording with a stereo cartridge but playing a stereo record with a mono cartridge (like a Miyajima) can cause damage.

This is not a mono recording like many offerings from Sam Records. http://www.samrecords.fr/shop/art-blakey-the-new-jazzmen-live-in-paris-65-sam-records-1965/. Don't want anybody to ruin their record by playing it with a mono cartridge.

Speakers Corner (SP) did a great job on this release - much better then my original Canadian pressing (which I liked until I heard this one). I have purchased the SP 'Minute By Minute' based on this one. I'm looking forward to hearing that one.

Billy Joel does a nice take on the Sam & Dave "You Got Me Hummin'. 'Tell Her About It' is different from the album version; a special version mixed by John "Jellybean" Benitez. Worth picking up if your fan of Billy Joel & Innocent Man.

This is a great SACD Surround disc (stereo is also very good). One of the best examples when surround sound is done well. It doesn't hurt that the performances and music is excellent - highly recommended.
