Started buying music in the mid 70s, mainstream and classical. Collector of mainly albums, with only a few singles bought many years ago. Since an initial upgrade to my hi-fi in 2015, buy mainly vinyl including with many audiophile pressings. Discovering 50s and 60s jazz. Amazed how good they sound, first Music Matters releases and now so many great vinyl Jazz series like Tone Poets and Acoustic Sounds Series. My revamped system has upped my listening pleasure.
Enjoy cataloguing my collection - in spreadsheets, Collectorz and since beginning of 2016 in Discogs. With about 1300 mainly CDs still to check, surprised by how many releases are not in Discogs, or have only basic information. I now know more about how to identify my version, so also finding some were incorrectly added to my collection. Not making much headway due to ongoing purchases, and Discogs' updates to my collection. Adding and updating them will keep me busy once checking is complete.
Not selling anything and limited use of Discogs to buy. And don't ask for a digital copy!
