While Bayard Rustin was an accomplished tenor who sang on some of Josh White's recordings, he is more well known for his work in the civil rights movement. Rustin was credited with organizing the 1963 March On Washington, where Dr. King gave his famous ... See full review

Released in 1975, this album features, among other artists, Lindsey Buckingham. 1975 is also the same year that Fleetwood Mac released their first album with new members Buckingham and Stevie Nicks. Guitarist Waddy Watchtel also plays on this title.

Listened to this while entering it into Discogs. Man, I feel like I'm back in high school and that was a LONG time ago! What a great compilation, particularly with The Kinks and Donovan. Sounds Orchestral's "Cast Your Fate To The Wind" might seem a ... See full review

To the best of my knowledge, Topper only recorded this one album, a must-hear for mellotron fanatics. According to info. on the internet reportedly from Jimmy Hodges III, the album was recorded at least in part at Jim Hodges' club - probably the ... See full review

To the best of my knowledge, Loadstone only put out this one album, though they apparently play on an Andy Williams record. Lodestone was a Las Vegas band that played at the Pussycat A Go Go, a club Williams frequented. Williams signed them to his ... See full review

Since acquiring this record, I have had e-mail correspondence with Larry Miller of Audio House. Larry tells me that Audio House recorded several Severinsen concerts and made their masters in-house. While he didn't give me an exact pressing quantity, he ... See full review

This promo stumps me. I can find no record (pardon the pun) that the songs on this promo were ever released. Is it possible King put out the promo to try and get air play and planned only to ramp up production if one of the tracks caught on??

I have this album. The title listed is incorrect. It is Spaces, not Space. corrected it on 1/29/2011
