It was recorded on a Walkman WMD6 using 2 Sony ECM50 mics, and as you say the sound suits the band. I reckon it's as good if not better than SLSQ their first official release. It remains a favorite of my live recordings.

I have the Spunk Bootleg with the purple cover with the gun label in the middle. This is supposedly a later (1980) European re- release (here https://www.discogs.com/Sex-Pistols-Spunk/release/2829496), however the matrix numbers are the same as above, ... See full review

The reason "Yardbirds" is hyphenated, on the cover, is that it is broken over two lines and hence the hyphen. It is correct grammar.
Sweet Music appears to be proper stereo as opposed to re-channeled.
