My copy of this version is quite thrashed (many scratches), but none the less seems to be mastered at a very low level. Poor sound quality throughout, practically impossible to listen to.

An amazing comp from Solid Smoke Records that displays the genius of Ollie McLaughlin, one of the most prolific producers and label owners in Detroit soul history, though he was based in Ann Arbor. The track selection here is superb, with deep soul cuts from Belita Woods, ... See full review

This early Columbia Records Pressing Plant, Santa Maria pressing has superb detail and dynamics, due in no small part to the mastering job by George Peckham. Highly recommended.

'Your Love' is extremely similar to Bobby Day's version of Your Love / Darkest Corner (Of The Room). It almost sounds as if it's the same backing track, but with a different lead vocal.
