At this point, The Fall have more opportunistic compilations than proper album releases.
Hilarious.

Might have been a repress. I've noticed the same issue on some of MOV's represses. The first run of any given pressing from MOV (from my experience) has been fine. Secondary pressings run into some quality control issues. I'm sure it still sounds ... See full review

How's the sound on this? I'm on the fence about taking the dive. Not worth the asking price if it sounds like crap.

Have not listened yet, but in case you were curious, this is NOT a gatefold. Printed inner sleeves for both discs.

Bob Weston does a phenomenal remaster once again! It sounds great: nice Butch Vig low-end, and Larissa's guitar absolutely slaughters my gat dang insides. My copy came off-center and with minor edge warp that is only visible when you play side 2. First ... See full review

Not as noisy as you'd expect from a picture disc. I've only had an earlier stereo pressing to compare this to, but the mono-mix sounds fantastic. My disc did have some warping, though. It's a cool thing to own but I'll be more stoked for the standard ... See full review

Nearly perfect pressing! The best I've heard this "album" sound save for a little sibilance on the last track of side B.

The mastering sounds much better on this release than the third man pressing. The packaging is top notch. HOWEVER. Much to the chagrin of the "MOV CAN DO NO WRONG" disciples, there are some quality control issues. My disc came with some hideous scuffs ... See full review

That was the plan initially. Haven't heard a peep since the first two reissues. Wonder if they weren't selling enough to justify further reissues, which would be a bummer.

Hilariously good pressing! Beautiful gatefold. Very very very quiet disc. A slight bit of edge warping but does not affect play at all and was likely a result of intl shipping. Highly recommend!

Typical Fall reissue from SV. Pretty good for the most part. Packaging is minimal as per usual (including the yellow copy paper "liner notes.") My copy had scuffing from the paper innersleeve likely from shipping. Aside from that, another solid release. ... See full review

Packaging: almost identical to the first press with the printed gatefold design save for the fact that the lettering on the front and back are far more legible now. The disc is flat and quiet. It comes in a plastic sleeve rather than your typical paper. ... See full review

A little noisy at times as is the case with most Numero releases, but the mastering and overall sound quality is top notch. One of the best early Unwound records brought back to life!

Pretty significant edge warp on my copy and a tight center hole. It still plays fine, but man oh man. This is a regular thing with Beggar's Banquet reissues. It does sound decent enough, if not just a little thin. Not the worst.

No skips. Just pretty noisy. Probably a VG- copy unless it was a noisy pressing to begin with. Doubt the LSF back catalog will ever see a vinyl reissue.

There's a repress of this going around that does not include the download card if that's a source of contention for anyone. It would be silly if that was a deal breaker but just thought I'd spread the word. No issues with this repress!
